This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Unless it's really packed, service is excellent. Food is always good, if not gourmet; service is always friendly. Outdoor seating is both comfortable and available. The tent will keep you dry, unless there's a heavy storm. The only negative is a very weak internet. Over all, I would recommend this comfortable restaurant.

Just looking into moving nearby and went to the daily dish. I really enjoyed the Croque Madame I had and my friend loved her Huevos Rancheros - both are things we love to get wherever we go. Mine was soooo delicious and it had a goose egg on it. I'd never had one of those and it was tasty. We both love breakfast food and she loved her meal, too. But aside from that, the wait staff was attentive even though it was a busy Sunday/Junteenth/Father's Day. We wanted to sit outside, but that was committed to reservations. (Note to self: make a ressie next time!) The place was cute, the food so fresh and delicious and local and contientiously sourced, and the staff great - so diverse (thank you!) and friendly. Yay!!

Was there a month ago with my family and was very disappointed with the food. The sea bass was tasteless and the scallop special ( given three average sized scallops for $38) was also bland.tasteless.

I enjoyed this place. I loved my steak order. It was extremely juicy. Even my friends had a great experience. The waiter was very friendly and extremely observant to make sure our drinks were full.

I love this place. I have had the salmon salad and other dishes which were excellent. Very good, friendly service. There is outdoor seating in front of the restaurant in beautiful surroundings and close to Rock Creek Park.

It is an attempt at fine dining/fast food/diner atmosphere that is missing the mark, whatever the mark may be. The food was alright. The service was poor. From our menu being snatched away (no request to take), to table cleaner being sprayed in the direction of our food, to being rushed to leave, to the waiter touching the rim of our water glasses and not providing straws...additional things not worth listing. It was not as enjoyable an experience as the other reviews alluded to. The young lady who sat us down was kind.

The service took so long. We ordered three pizzas and they messed up one, so we had to wait even longer. We were also on a tight schedule and had to be somewhere and couldn’t make it on time because of the pizzas. The employees were not welcoming at all either and they all looked depressed with bad energy. Super disappointed not coming back, do not recommend

Nice Sunday brunch with delicious choices. Small intimate space with outside dining in the spring with music on the werkends.

Horrible ribeye steaks that are extremely poor the Cook family forFinley pool

Meant to leave this review a few months ago and just got reminded about this place - I LOVED it, absolutely recommend. I went here with my girlfriend and it is a great date spot, or any occasion. Has an elegant vibe but at the same time you feel right at home there. Seafood was phenomenal and staff was awesome.
