The food is ok, 1 star because they say they open at 12:00. I placed an online order at 12:05 (pre paid online) It said they order will be ready by 1230 (a simple Jerked chicken meal) when i showed up at 12:35 they said the food is not ready, i asked how long and chef says 1 hour. I replied i am on lunch break, i dont have an hour, she said wait a min it wont be an hour, then comes back and says 30mins... i tell her i dont have that long i ordered a meal at 1205 expecting to be able to eat lunch on my lunch hour. The chef replies we do things a lil diffently around here.. what?? Then why do you do online orders and not inform online your food is not ready until 130. I got no apology, only 3 employees rolling eyes at me. They ended up giving me something else that was already ready and acted like i should be happy because it "costs more than jerked chicken" ok, thanks, the curry chicken is OK, but i wanted and ordered Jerk chicken. There are atleast 5 other jamaican/carribean spots around that i could have ordered jerk chicken from.. i cant recomment this one of poor service.

I’ve been here two times and every time there was an issue. They let their customers do whatever they want, including be disrespectful to other patrons. There is no order. I’ve been here in the night and during the day, it was chaotic both times. On top of that there is NO customer service. The food is GOOD but it’s not worth it in my opinion.

Sweet sweet kitchen is one of my favorite eateries in downtown silver spring. Every time I've purchased from this trustworthy establishment, the food tastes fresh and well seasoned. Though I've not tried everything on the menu my go-to is jollof rice & brown stew chicken or white rice and cassava leaf. Another reason I enjoy this place is that the prices are set and the portion sizes can go for two meals. You can't go wrong with sweet sweet kitchen!

First and first of all, give great where credit, where credit due, I'm a born Jamaican, I don't normally eat out much, because if my home cooking is better, why the fu*? I need to pay for bad food. The only reason they are getting 4* instead of five, is because of the price. And the child that was wiping her nose and then though the tissue on top of the countertop. Of course kids will be kids, but that's not a very appealing or appetizing look for a food establishment.

The food is always amazing every time I come. The food is fresh, seasoned very well, and I always get great customer service ✅

The food here is good tasting and it's very convenient because of how long it stays open but I immideatly got scammed. I paid $30 for oxtail and jollof rice when the posted price was $24. It has potential to be great but they need to be more honest with their customers.

Thee best Jollof Rice hands down, and their stew- ? amazing. Oh, let's not forget the Cassava Leaf, I tried it out for the first time and had a trip to flavor town. The owners and their staff treat customers wonderfully, I will definitely be shopping here again!!! Wow

This is the best take out food I’ve had in my life. I ordered the brown stewed chicken and I’m coming back tomorrow.

This place has great Cassava leaf but the portion size and price does not add up. $19.07 for half filled tray is not ok also I asked the cashier is the meat cooked separately and what kind she says they made it with oxtail. Ok so why is there only a half of tail in my tray like come on. Btw I didn’t notice until I was home so that’s my fault for not checking

Sweet Sweet Kitchen NEVER disappoints. I really enjoy the food. The staff is always warm and welcoming.
