Quarry House is just the best! Whenever you want a killer burger, this is the place. Also, their onion rings and house-made ranch are incredible.
Great food here ! We came here after a friend recommended this place to us. We got the wings with classic buffalo and hot buffalo. The hot buffalo was good but very spicy (hence the hot) ! The servers weren’t too attentive but it was a bar atmosphere so that’s not too unexpected. I’ll definitely be back.

First thing first: this place is a Dive Bar. If you are expecting a wine cellar, white glove service, or even well lit tables, you're definitely in the wrong place.That aside, it's a Most Excellent Dive Bar! The food (burgers, fancy burgers, fake burgers, things like burgers that aren't, wings, and mayyyybe a couple other things) is very well prepared, tasty, and very reasonably priced. The beer list is very good, including several local brews -- if only they had a few more ciders to choose from!All in all, we had a great evening and will absolutely go back again.
Incredible underground bar with a rich history as one of the oldest taverns in the silver spring area. Lack of televisions and alternate entertainment create an amazing environment for socializing with just about anybody there. Make you feel at home and like part of the family!

I really like this bar. I can’t believe how long it took me to actually try it out! Well I did move to silver spring at like the peak of the pandemic so maybe it was closed. I think it was closed. Anyway holy heck this place has great beer, great food, and great vibes. I feel like there are just constant great jams playing on the juke box. The happy hour prices are legit. The wife and i got burgers and like 2 to 3 beers each and an appetizer and tater tots and it didn’t feel like we broke the bank (which is great for this area). The burgers are friggin delicious! Holy hell though, the after burner burger is HOT. Like I enjoy spicy but this is the first time in living memory I actually took some of the spice off of my burger just so I could finish it. My intestines are still pretty angry at me the following afternoon. Just a word of warning. The pictured burger in this review is a chophouse style… that’s a much safer bet.I honestly can’t wait to go back it’s just that good though. I just know now to spare my gastrointestinal tract the searing inferno that is the afterburner burger.
My goodness... this place was amazing. I've had their food for takeout before but never been inside. Firstly, when I arrived (my date was waiting for me) I felt kind of out of place. It's a basement place so it's daunting when you open the door you feel like the entire bar is looking at you. I didn't get time to process if I had made a good or bad decision because a shorter portly gentleman who was moving around swiftly, greeted me and gave me a calm welcoming greeting. After showing my vaccination cards I went to look for my date. T they have great beers and amazing bourbon and whiskey. Although my date didn't end up going well, I could have cared less because the ambience and the small batch bourbon (waitress picked which one) paired well with the bacon and cheese tots (crispy not soggy in the middle) I washed that down with the interestingly named lickhole creek. It was a Mexican chocolate stout. The clean finish on the stout leaves you wanting more of it. I didn't see a host, but that's a testament to the service and not a slight at their staff. For the volume that was there and the amount of tasks to be had it was experience. They have live music coming there soon and I look forward to doing a few reviews for those occasions.lastly, Our waitress was attentive, helpful, hard working and attractive, (all of them are at this place) the burgers and tots are the go to items, but I need a few more visits and I'll update. I have to go bartop and experience that.This place warranted the long review. And I'll probably hit the happy hour today

Nice vibe. Not too dive-y. Food is very good considering it's a pub. Cocktail menu is a bit limited, but the offerings are good.Impressive array of beers of whiskeys.
