Potbelly is one of my favorite sandwich eateries. Everytime I go, I grab the juicy chicken salad sandwich with everything toppings and extra hot pepper. Nothing goes wrong with that juicy sandwich.

A solid Potbelly restaurant.I have had some problems with getting the correct order in the past, but the staff has always been good about correcting the order. The manager has been friendly and helpful to me all of the times ive been there.

edit: 4 weeks have gone by. I have not had an update from that location.Today I had witnessed the most unprofessional and disrespectful behavior I have ever seen in a Potbelly @ the silver spring location. My problem being the shift manager. She is about 5'5, tattoos, african american & female. She was wearing a navy blue shirt, & jeans. I use the word "manager" very loosely. Her attitude towards her coworkers and customers was less than deplorable. She was not wearing a name tag. Usually the worst employees never wear a name tag with my experience. While taking sandwiches out of the oven, she was shouting very loudly to the young man with tattoos next to her about how she's "not training him next week!!" and "this is it, this is your last chance!!" "you need to get this down!!!". He said he was sorry twice. I heard him. She still kept up the verbal tirade and dug claws deeper into him in front of customers. Morale is low in this place. I was uncomfortable and embarrassed for him. My bf looked mortified. She was shouting in a raised voice about him cutting a sandwich "wrong". She literally screamed about toppings across the entire room at the group of out-of-state customers infront of us who mistakenly ordered sandwiches and sat down at a booth. It was obvious they had never been inva potbelly beforen She was visably frustrated and unhappy. All she did was huff and puff and roll her eyes and shake her head at people. I even asked her if she was "ok " it looked like she was having some kind of mental episode. Every person on her shift looked miserable and "over her" behavior. I had to say something. I actually used to work at this location with Jason and John years back when live music was featured. I have never ever witnessed such rude behavior before at a Potbelly. When she handed me my sandwich, I leaned over and told her "the day will get better but you really should take it easier on the guy" she shouted at me "HELL NO WHY SHOULD I?! THATS JUST WHAT YOU THINK !!!!" I then told her she was abusive and unprofessional. She left the line & focused all her negative energy at me & she posted herself up at the cash register to continue to "talk trash" about me to her cashier while we were paying % trying to shout back at me. She continued to "mad dog" stare me down at me at the Soda machine. Did you start hiring people out of prison ? She found the right one in me. I am not scared of her. That is the vibe she gives me. She seriously needs sensitivity training and customer service training. Her abusive words and demeanor were absolutely toxic. She needs a wake up call before she does some thing that causes a lawsuit either with an employee or another customer. She definitely is a liability. I will never ever go to this location again. I spend way too much $ here to be treated like garbage especially during inflation and a never ending pandemic. She needs to be checked or you will lose more customers. Who hurt you girlfriend

She needs to calm herself down. Its the holiday season. Not everyone has been to a potbelly location before. With most businesses around this location being hotels, you would think she would understand that. She was visably frustrated and unhappy. I told her she was acting unprofessional and abusive every step of the way. She continued to try and "mad dog" stare at me at the Soda machine. Did you start hiring people fresh out of prison? That is the vibe she gives me. If she goes to work looking for a fight with customers she will meet her match. Her abusive words and demeanor were absolutely toxic. She needs a wake up call before she does some thing that causes a lawsuit either with an employee or another customer. She definitely is a liability. I will never ever go to this location again. Customers should never feel "less than" or disrespected because of toxic, abusive managers. She isn't fit to be serving anyone or managing anyone. I'll be contacting corporate as well about her being so messy and angry.

Staff is always awesome. Not sure about the complaints online - the Potbelly crew works hard and long hours. Treat people the way you want to be treated. So if staff isn't bowing down to you, it's probably because of your nasty attitude.Awesome store and staff!

Ordered a BLTA, specifically asked to ensure that they would include the avocado in my sandwich. When I got home, I discovered there was in fact no avocado in the sandwich. Before coming here to leave a review, I called the store to inform them of the issue. A young man answered the phone and asked if I had specified that I wanted avocado…I mentioned that I did, but honestly as an after thought, it’s a BLTA! if I don’t ask you to hold the avocado you should probably assume that I want the avocado. Anyways he asked me to please hold and I was literally on hold for 35 minutes. I hung up and came to leave a review. I don’t know what’s going on with this store, but y’all need to fix it, fast.Absolutely unacceptable.Update: the manager reached out to me directly same day, apologized to me and offered me a full refund or another sandwich made correctly. They did a great job, and were very kind when I came in.

The employees at this location are unbelievably rude. I witnessed an employee scream at a customer who politely informed her that she has not made the sandwich the customer ordered. After exploding at the customer she then blew up at her coworker who she felt was in her space and flung the sandwich he was making, along with the knife he was using, to the other side of the counter. Stay away at all costs.

Rude and lazy workers, butchered my ordered through ubereats and didnt even apology for the inconvenience.

This was my first time ever ordering from here. Ordered a Turkey avocado sandwich and added lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles. It came with no avocado, only the tiniest bit of lettuce, and if there are onions in here I can’t see or taste them. I also ordered a whole pickle on the side and got this little dish of pickle ribbons instead. I will not be returning.
