I’ll definitely be back for their breakfast pastriesGreat coffee spot located on a busy street. I recently stopped by on an early Sunday and the line was almost out the door. My friends and I ordered a regular coffee, espresso shot and a matcha latte. Prices are reasonable for DC and service was really quick.I tried the pastries and they were very good! The scones are absolutely amazing, I think I got a cranberry almond scone and I loved it. I also got the jalapeno biscuits- they were really good but I felt that the jalapeno flavor was subtle.
The staff was very great but the drinks they made were not. Coffee was burnt and the iced mocha wasn't flavourful. The beignet were good, but we ended up leaving the coffee and going to sweeteria
A wonderful New Orleans coffee shop. Smooth, strong (dark roast) coffee, paired nicely with a delicious beignet. Great morning starter. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Need one in my home town.

My 1st visit to PJ's. The shop is relaxing and the service excellent. got Chai Tea Latte and Beignets. Very, very good ?. Well worth this morning traffic ?. Much check it out. ? ?

Much BETTER than your local Starb%*÷$ !! The Beignets are the absolute BEST! The coffee is super GOOD & super authentic. The ambiance is warm & inviting! Thank you all for bringing a taste of New Orleans to Silver Spring.

Great coffee and environment but very understaffed on weekends. Waited over 45 minutes for coffee today. If you hire another barista or two to help on weekends, we’ll be regulars again!
