If it adds anything to to the review I am vietnamese and my SO is not vietnamese but has had some vietnamese food in the past (still has alot more to try though I am working on it LOL) My SO and I tried this place yesterday. We had the Grilled Ribeye Roll the Grilled Beef Banh Mi and a large Pho Tai Bo Vien and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The pho was so-so the broth was very salty but the noodles were cooked right and the herbs/toppings looked and tasted fresh and they give you a good amount of meat in the soup. I only tasted the banh mi because it was my SO's but they finished the sandwhich and said it was very good and the bite I had did not disappoint so I would say the Banh mi is a solid choice. The ribeye rolls were also very good. My SO had the coffee and said they loved it and are probably now addicted to vietnamese coffee now. Service was fast! The staff are professional/polite but not overly friendly if that is what you are looking for. Overall the place is clean (except if I were to nitpick maybe the sauce dishes that are on the table for use could be cleaned more thoroughly or swapped more often because it seems they get a little dusty/dirty from sitting on the table but they weren't like terribly dirty just I saw a speck of something on the dish ). I would be happy to try the place again but I personally would not get the Pho. I would probably get a sandwich or try one of the rice dishes next time I go. Also one last thing is I have a peanut allergy and the beef rolls came with peanuts on them and they made made a new one for us to eat which was great.

I used to go here almost weekly for lunch when I worked in downtown silver spring. It was so good— fresh, fast, and delicious. I would alternate between the veggie pho and P1 and ALWAYS got the summer rolls. I miss it and already look forward to visiting next time I’m in town.

We stopped in don a cold winter day, and could not have picked a better place! For a full review, see johntannersbbq blog and search "Vinh"

I have passed by this location so many times and finally stopped by recently with some friends. We ordered some summer rolls, vegetarian, Pho Tai, Pho Tan Vinh and the vegetarian one as well. The beef broths were so rich. Very small amount of msg. You don't feel dehydrated after the Pho. The meats were prepared fresh and thinly sliced. The vegetarian pho is is a fully vegetarian broth. Confirmed after asking a couple servers. The location is great as theres street parking all around the main street and also a couple of garages as well. Perfect place to take your family as they have large tables as well. The rice platters were definitely popular as I saw some other diners order them as well. I'll definitely be back to try their other dinner entrees and boba as well

This was a solid bowl of Pho. Broth was flavorful and had a good amount of Star Anise in it. The Beef tasted fresh as well as the bean sprouts and Thai Basil… I was pleasantly surprised.

The pho was really great, with large portions even for pho. Service was quick and excellent. It was pretty cozy inside; nice place to escape the cold.

Always an amazing Pho experience. Definitely recommend for winter or fall date night when it downtown Silver Spring.

The Vietnamese coffee was okay, nothing special in my opinion. It was too small and much too expensive for what it was, it was more than five dollars for a very small cup. It also did not come with any extra hot water or the coffee filter and strainer where the coffee grinds are kept, as it does in the Vietnamese restaurants that I have been to in Arlington or Fairfax. It almost tastes as though it was made with instant coffee, too, but it was not bad. The little bowls where the sauces are kept did not look very clean to me either. As far as food, I had a grilled chicken Banh mi sandwich and it was fairly good. The staff were nice and the decor inside of the restaurant is nice. Overall, I think that this restaurant is okay, but has room for some improvement as well.

Food is good but cost vs value is not worth. One aged staff customer service is very good but other younger boy’s approach need more improvement. Seating arrangement so close to each other.
