Was the WORST food ever eaten. Waiter didn't know the specials, was slow and unattractive. We ordered more bread, or in my case a beer, we had to remind him several times because he kept forgetting. I had to go up to the counter and write down the specials. I ordered the calamari over linguine. The portion was very small even for a lunch portion. There may have been 5 pieces of calamari max (I have NEVER seen such small pieces in my life) and lacked sauce. I won't start on the oil mixture for the bread they serve. Let's just say it was too spicy.

Andy was very pleasant and welcoming me and my coworker to his establishment.I was told the owner is from the Bronx and the first thing I said was "he must be from little Italy ?? in the Bronx by Arthur Avenue."My slice of pizza was a taste from home.I will definitely be a repeat customer!!!

Let me begin this review by saying…I have never had the pizza here. But the sandwiches are very good, and budget friendly. I believe most of the menu may be overpriced a bit, but the food I have had has been good, and the staff very friendly.

I don't know if they changed Chefs or cut back on ingredients or what but today is the 3rd time in the past 3 months that the food absolutely sucked. Tonight I had the Chicken Parmigiano and it was awful, a total waste of money as it ended up in the trash after 4 bites. And I was hungry!

The Silver Spring location is wonderful. This is my first time trying this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. As you enter, you see the different varieties of Gelato on your right and an open kitchen that you are able to see the cooks prepare the kitchen. The restaurant was very clean and has a nice ambiance atmosphere as you see bottles of wine as a barrier between the seating area and the kitchen. Before entering the restaurant, I thought this would be a little basic traditional pizza shop however, I was wrong. There are plenty of different appetizers, pizzas, and pastas to choose from. The waitress was great and very hospitable. The food was delicious and the bread that was served was tasty. They also had several special dishes that were advertised as you walk in gon a white board while also paper clipped on your menu, definitely next time I will try the specials. With all being said, I will definitely will be back.

The pizza and wings are excellent! And the service, by manager Donna and her team, was professional with warmth and personality! Donna is a keeper! This review is specific to the Connecticut Ave store in NW Washington DC.

Went in for a working lunch today; and it was well worth it. The dining area wasn't crowded; guests were seated pretty much in their own "zones," which helped keep anxiety levels low.The food... Italian is comfort food for me and today I decided on pizza. I split a large MAMMA'S SPECIAL (minus the black olives) with my boss. All I can say is that first bite was followed by contented sighs, then warm ear to ear smiles from all of us. The portions... the large (18") was way larger than expected; it served up 8 slices - Jumbo Slice style.I foresee many more lunches had there.

My shrimp scampi came with 3 pieces of shrimp and barely had any sauce. I recommended this to order at work because I love the penne vodka so much and it was an embarrassment. Literally just a bowl of plain noodles

Delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Service was excellent. Pleasant ambiance and not too noisy. Will definitely dine here the next time I'm in town.

If you are in Silver Spring and you don't try this place then you dropped the ball. The food is sensational. I had chicken and linguine bolognese and my wife had wild mushroom ravioli. Both were insanely delicious and enough for two meals. We started with the half pound meatball which was also excellent. When craving Italian this place can do no wrong.
