We went to Lucy Ethiopia restaurant for graduation, the entire staff were very kind, the service was above and beyond. The food is amazing, the best Ethiopian restaurant. I wish there were more then 5 stars. Thank you Lucy team.
Gross food. Kitfo not flavored at all. Even the enjera tastes weird. asked for hot tea and got cold tea. Food and drinks took forever to come even though it was just few tables occupied.Waitress busy with their friends.What happened to this place? It progressively got worst and worst over the past year.
My family dinner at Lucie restaurant was amazing ! Our host Messie was well welcoming , friendly and adorable . The food was very tasty as we requested , succulent and came on time .
The place has a nice bar vibe. Stopping by for a drink, listening to music, meeting friends, that's fine. As far as food...hmm. Went to Silver Spring to visit a friend. Was passing by Lucy restaurant and thought it was awhile since i had Ethiopian food. Came in, looked at menu and ordered Balageru to go described as "tender beef ribeye". 40 minutes later the food arrived.Another 10 minutes passed to get the bill which included beer charge that i never ordered. Was refunded the cost of beer in cash, but it took additional time. All in all wasted an hour waiting. Came home looking forward to enjoy the food. Meat was tough and chewy. Certainly no ribeye, but inferior much cheaper cut of meat Was tired of chewing it. It came with onions and injera. Some spices on the side. Could not finish and dumped half of it in garbage.As a bar this place is ok, but avoid ordering food there.
Only got a beer and also an appetizer.The appetizer was so delicious, the meat was well seasoned. They were just really busy and it seemed no one knew what they had in stock regarding the drinks, or food.Everyone was really nice, and I think if they were not so busy the service would have been better.I want to go back because again the food was well seasoned hot, and super delicious!I ate it so fast I didn’t take a picture so I wish I did.
Lucy's Ethiopian Restaurant was an exceptional experience. I was greeted with a warm smile. The service was done in a timely and pleasant manner. More importantly, the food was delicious I was more than satisfied.

Quite tasty Ethiopian food - we had injera, veggie combo and a beef dish (girgiro). Unfortunately they don't offer any hot drinks (coffee or tea). I'm very happy to see several other Ethiopian restaurants in Silver Springs, will need to compare them and advise afterwards on their relative merits.
