This place is horrible, the Customer service sucks. They really do not care about the customers at all. It is overpriced and the food itself is extremely bland and basic. Doesn’t even seem like it’s an Ethiopian restaurant. They take a while to take your order and it takes even longer for it to come out. They do not have half the items on the menu for some reason. They do not even give you a glass Of water unless you ask for it which is absolutely ridiculous. The waitress gave us an excuse that we came at the wrong day and time when the restaurant was quite literally almost empty when we arrived. We have to get up ourselves to ask for extra injera. Oh, and they also take forever to bring the bill! Do not recommend this place at all. Nothing but a waste of time and money.
Their food is okay. But the service is poor both on Silver Spring and White Oak specially if it comes to phone orders, if you order by call there is a 80% chance your order is not placed or processed until you show up at the restaurant physically. They my give you the didn’t put your order because they don’t want to take ‘risk’ if in case you don’t show up which is embarrassing as an individual and as Ethiopian community.[ I have enough data to support this claim]?
Worst customer service experience!! The waitress doesn’t know her job really well. Everything in this restaurant takes longer than expected I don’t know if it is the restaurant policy or just the employees created. The food was too bland, and below average. There were no tissue or glass of water given without asking. The food is overpriced for the quality; the employees are slow and disorganized in their job. It takes forever to get both the food and bill. Never go back again, and I don’t recommend this place for anyone.
I visited this Ethiopian restaurant with a recommendation from a Ethiopian friend. Firstly there are two restaurants with a very similar name, so make sure you go to the one on Hampshire Avenue in Silver spring Md . My experience here was really great, I went with a group of friends who were very keen on tasting the Ethiopian cuisine, this restaurant is newly opened and has a full bar & great music. the food was well cooked, tasted great and served hot, The wait staff was very accommodating and helpful, this restaurant was reasonably priced and I feel that it’s a great place for anyone wanting to try the Ethiopian cuisine. There Vegetarian & Non vegetarian platters were both well balanced and enough offering,I would recommend this restaurant, Enjoy!!
Great food! I asked for a recommendation and received a great dish!!! Service and food even the music was great! It looks like they have a venue for live music! Would love to come when live music is happening! I’m coming back!
We walked with my friend for a late night dinner and greeted by the bartender Blen, the service is excellent and enjoyed good food and drinks.
This was my first time here, and it will be my last.Service is horrible. We sat for 15 min before anyone greeted us and took our orders. We never got the drinks we ordered (not even water). Drinks came after food after we asked a couple of times. Food took way too long to come out, and honesty it wasn’t the greatest. After we finished eating, it took a while to get our check.Music was way too loud for a restaurant and with the extremely dim lights it made our dining experience the absolute worse.2 starts for the aesthetics and the effort.
Our waitress was kind, helpful and very courteous. Went with little ones and even the baby was eating up the crumbs. Expected the food to be good and instead it was excellent! First time at Lagano and eating Ethiopian, and already looking to doing both again!
Food is gross and overpriced. It takes forever to get your food whether they are busy or not. The waitress seem super careless. The place is so beautiful and big.
Well I moved to Maryland recently and visited this place often ,very beautiful and clean.service is great!!! Specially the bartender BlU is outstanding !!! She knows how to treat customer professionally. I highly recommend this place. My Favorite place in Maryland.Keep up the good job guys.?????
