Great spot with good service and not only tasty but pretty food. We ordered a few plates to share. Prices are reasonable but the portions are smaller.A lot of seating. Cute space.
I went to this place last night with a friend and it was SO good. I learned how to cook Thai food in thailand and it felt like I was transported back there. I got the drunken noodles and it had JUST the right amount of spice! Highly recommend.
I’ve got food from this restaurant & on the occasion of me doing so I’ve caught food poisoning, ( really bad stomach pains , vomiting, and unpleasant bowel movement due to the pork being kept out, & the meals being rushed & over cooked , I was really sick along with my girlfriend.. the workers seem pretty prejudice against black people, I DO NOT RECOMMEND to eat here!!
Ordered chicken panang curry and chicken Pad Thai. Panang curry had nice flavors and good amount of spice, but the curry was quite runny and watery consistency, rather than a thicker curry.Avoid their Pad Thai. Lack of flavor, thin noodles. Could barely taste any peanut flavor or the complex Thai spices you get from their competitors in the area.Decent, but due to the plethora of good to great Thai restaurants in the area, won't be ordering again here.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Maryland and DC area! Tastes very authentic, bursts of flavor, you can request for spicy and great friendly atmosphere. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao Tofu, Duck Noodle Soup, Pad Kra Pow and Som Tum (Papaya Salad).
Lamoon Thai is a wonderful boutique authentic Thai restaurant with a history of great food and one of the best Thai Iced Teas around. I’ve been going there and greatly enjoying food at this restaurant for the last 20 years or so; since it was in the Thai Market. The food has always been great. The service in the old days was stellar. Seriously, they knew my name and really treated me as they wanted me to come back. Since Lamoon has taken over, I cannot speak as highly of the service. That said, I would still highly recommend Lamoon for its great food. The rating would be a 5-Star if it weren’t for the lack luster service in recent years. Worth a visit, if you are in the downtown Silver Spring area.
Had the veggie Tofu Tods and the Peanut Tofu with Broccoli. Tofu was dry as hell. No seasoning at all and no taste at all. And two hours later my stomach is bot feeling well. Thanks.
Simple and casual but the food was good
This is my best place, I found a good price, good quality and quantity. Everybody nice and friendly. the food is similar in Thailand very tasty. We had always a great time, thank you.
Food is good but do not order delivery. Was told 50 min, after 75 min no food and they were very unresponsive when I called. Finally arrived 85 min later.
