For the beef cannelloni, the tomato in the tomato sauce was not “reduced” enough, gave the sauce a rather bitter taste. The chicken alfredo was swimming in cream. Perhaps the pizzas are better, but the pasta was disappointing. (This was for delivery/take out.)
Somehow my initial review was deleted. So I will post again since I feel very strongly about the quality of food here. I am being truthful and honest. This was hands down the worst pizza I have ever had. You are better off getting Domino’s or something like that. Please do not make the mistake of getting pizza here like I did.
This establishment is suspect. They accepted my order and charged my card while they were closed. The hours on google are not correct hours. On weekends they close at 11. Best way to get food from here is to go to the restaurant to see if they’re open, then order.
Some time ago the food and attention was good, now a pizza that was$10 dollars, today it cost me $15 dollars?? and poor quality and toppings and very bad service..I will never buy from that place again
Got recommended this place, unfortunately very disappointing. Large amount of crust with minimal toppings, cheese and sauce. I'd look elsewhere
We love the pepperoni pizza here. Def try if your in the downtown silver spring area!
My husband and I recently moved to the Silver Spring area and couldn’t find a good pizza place that delivered. After one night when we really didn’t want to cook, we googled reviews of pizza places nearby and this TripAdvisor listing came up. So we ordered delivery through chownow (it’s a better business model for small restaurants than grubhub) and loved the results. Delivery was fast (about 45 minutes from ordering to food being handed to me), food was still hot when it arrived, and the pizza was delicious. It’s definitely handmade from scratch, and the toppings were generous. Thin crust but not NYC style - more like a cross between artisan and NYC style. And the baked feta with focaccia breadsticks was amazing too.
I went to pick up an order at 9:36pm tonight and the sign on their door says they're open until 11pm. They did not answer their locked door as I was knocking, and did not answer the phone as I was calling. After I knocked on the door for a while the girl working at the counter eventually pointed to the corner, meaning go walk over to the other door that is unlocked because apparently nobody was going to walk 15 feet to unlock the door. As I enter they ask me if I am picking up, I say yes, and they say there is no order in the system. I show them my order on my phone and a minute later they say they "found it". Does this sound like it deserves more than 1/5 stars? Didn't think so.
Tried the prima pizza - excellent. Look forward to trying more of their extensive menu.
I guarantee they don't care, they "never answer their phone, and called at least 10 times, and been across the street, and see them ignore the phone. They close early when website shows they are open. The website does not work, has no prices, and no way to order online. So you cant call because they don't answer the phone, you can't order online because the wed site does not work, and there are no descriptions of any of their food. Unbelievable, and bet they wonder why the restaurant is always empty. So the only way you will get food is to walk in and wait.
