Very nice spot with outside dining.I had intended to go to the pub across the street, heard the music and made a quick detour lol. The samosas were deliciously delicious.Will be back!

Today your location is stating that it is open and it’s not, I have been calling since 4pm to place a massive order to treat my staff for all of there hard work! Because I was proactive with calling and you guys were not answering took it upon myself to walk to your location and it doesn’t even have a sign saying that you guys were going to be closed today July 5 this is not cool because I wasted my time by walking to your location I’m about 10 mins away from my place of work and calling. This is not right nor fair, as former restaurant GM this isn’t good for future guest on top of that I was prepared to spend a few hundred to support you guys as black owned and introduce my staff to e African cuisines and entrees.. Not cool you guys
Although they were short staffed, the food was delicious. I would definitely go back again.
I went to the restaurant Friday 6/03/22 I arrived at 6:56pm Got sitted at 7pm and the waiter hand us the menu and told us our waiter will be right with us. The restaurant inside only had one other table with 3 ladies and someone sitting at the bar. One server working outside. The other server was no where to be found. I waited 12 minutes and no one came to us to even offer water. I left the restaurant at 7:15pm after not being helped for 15 minutes. I’ve been to the restaurant before and the service is not the greatest.
in Silver Spring MD and a East African restaurant serving food inspired by Persian, Indian, and Portuguese cuisine, we enjoyed a evening here with friends, the Manager was very friendly & helpful, wait staff was good. Food is descent but not amazing. Turns into a club at 10 pm and have a DJ playing music.price is not cheap but also not super expensive.
Discovered this gem yesterday! First, the warm welcome at the door, the attention to detail by all the staff, the beautiful smile and genuine care of the waitress. Followed by piping hot, fresh food that was out of this world delicious! Do yourself a favor and eat here and often. Gratitude is mine.

I bought my samosas from Hakuna Matata per usual but this time a mistake was made. I got Samosas from the “wrong batch”. A few hours after i picked up my order - the manager (Victor) called me. He called to check on me, apologize and ask if there was anything they could do for me. I was not aware of the wrong batch nor did I expect a call from Hakuna. It’s always great to see businesses doing the right thing for the customer. Go and support your local businesses. (Great food and ambiance)
Amazing service from the hostess to the servers to the bartenders and to the manager!I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the DMV area or just visiting. Things there are the right blend of high class and right price. Victor and the team are true professionals. Cheers!
