I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ryan for an event on March 16th and was so appreciative of his professionalism and knowledge of food.You know the food is going to be great when you can smell it 2 minutes in, when warming. We had a beautiful selection of salmon, chicken, sauces, potatoes and veggies. As delicious as everything was, the salad really blew me away - such unique ingredients and very bright (beets, watermelon radishes, etc.).A huge thank you to Green Plate Catering and we hope to work with you all again soon. We were so happy to find Green Plate to be our October 2021 wedding caterer! We wanted to have a vegan, gluten-free menu -- but also to leave none of our omnivorous friends and family the least bit hungry or complaining about "rabbit food." Almost all of our guests said the food was delicious, everyone was full, and our most carnivorous guests were silenced.Ryan and Kit were such a pleasure to work with. They were so easygoing but also fully committed to an amazing wedding dining experience. When we postponed they gave us a chance at a second tasting to make sure we had the exact menu we wanted. Ryan in particular went above and beyond, particularly in the days right before and during the wedding. We'd give them all the stars.
These guys did a spectacular job for my wife’s birthday party. Smooth planning and menu setting, super professional and friendly the day of the event - and the food was a huge hit. Especially loved the lamb meatballs, spicy pickles and veggie spring rolls. Sauces and spices an A+ and everything gluten free. Highly recommend.
Green Plate Catering catered a delicious local, organic and seasonal meal for our monthly supper club, which has gone virtual during the pandemic. Thanks to Kit and Ryan, mother and son co-owners of GPC, we were able to offer our friends (six couples) a prepacked, oven-safe vegan, vegetarian or humanely raised meat option that we all enjoyed together virtually over a game night.The dinner consisted of seasonal vegetable and organic chicken kabobs with delicious harissa aioli and pesto dipping sauces, a hearty rice pilaf with butternut squash and fresh herbs, and a citrus salad with local greens and goat cheese. The dessert was just as exquisite -- a vegan dark chocolate mousse with pomegranate seeds and heavenly coconut macaroons. One friend described the dessert as decadent, and another couple claimed the meal was the best they have had since the pandemic began!We were grateful for Kit and Ryan's patience and thoughtfulness in working with us to create a menu that met all six couples' palettes and dietary needs. During these unprecedented times, we could all use a little extra nourishment and break from cooking/cleaning, which is exactly what GPC provided!

Green Plate provided food and drinks for my father’s memorial reception at Friends Meeting of Washington. Everything was great, Ryan and his staff were total professionals. He worked with us through several fairly last minute changes to the menu and numbers of people, and was super friendly and accommodating. At the reception itself they radiated the same warmth and were total pros. We were interested in things like sustainability, local products, and reducing waste, and they’re all over it. They also accommodated a wide range of tastes, and provided great vegan options.
