Lovely dinner. Really enjoyed my trout special with Greek potatoes and green beans with tomatoes. The house Greek wine was crisp and dry. Hubby enjoyed his gyro platter. Friendly staff.

This place has the best Greek food! I've been to Greek places all over the US, and this place has the best Moussaka I've ever tried! The Spanakopita was also delicious! This is true authentic Greek food!

We went for a family day out to relax and eat lunch. The place is nice to dine in with few dinners at the time we went in and nice table setup. We reserved a table and the service started. My first weird experience is the server brought us two large menus and the one she handed to me has a used mask on it. I was surprise she didn't notice that mask on the menu when she hand it to me. I took it easy just thinking she might be overworked and lost her attention. Next, we found a fly in the soup. That was gross. We called the server and showed it to her. She brought us another one, but we already lost our appetite and didn't touched it, but paid for it given the situation businesses are struggling now a days. I think we might go once again to see if the bad experience was a once in a while or a frequent case.

We wanted some good Greek food in a white tablecloth restaurant that was relatively close to downtown Silver Spring. We got all of that at The Greek Village Restaurant. We had never been there before, but took a chance, based on the other good reviews. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, prompt and friendly, we totally enjoyed our experience. It's in kind of small, dreary-ish shopping center next to a Giant grocery, but that meant there was easy parking and good lighting. Totally unexpected find; we'll be going back!
Was pleasantly surprised for the delicious food, fast service and that this place is still in business. I came here like a year ago during the pandemic. Had an egg plant onion dish and also potato soup and of course the Baklava and coffee.
Just average. pick up order was 25 minutes late…no apology offered which would have made first experience here better. Spanikopita seemed greasy and the mousaka and green beans were ok. The dolmas were tasty! The salads were entirely iceberg lettuce which I usually avoid. The online menu doesn’t always match up as well. Entree online said comes with Greek salad but it actually came with just a garden salad. Perhaps Covid 19 has affected this restaurant as well as many others. All the same, I wish them well and thank them for cooking for us.
This place provides amazing service as well as enjoyable food. The best place ever. The food and drinks came out rapidly and the prices are affordable. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
