So lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood! I've ordered for our family before and always been impressed with the value and speed. Yesterday I ordered vegan combination platters for a dinner gathering with colleagues, and they all raved about the quality and taste. Fast, friendly service too, and the food couldn't be fresher. Plus a free lentil samosa as you’re leaving!

Had the Awaze Tibes. Very succulent and tasty. Came with a side of corn meal I think it was and lots of Injera bread. Everything cooked to perfection. The owner and cook was very pleasant and accomodating. Hope to be back soon.

Elita is just a gem of a spot here in Four Corners. Traditional Eritrean fare. Almaz is an amazing cook and just a lovely person. My son and I needed a quick mid-day bite and her house roasted coffee. I'm addicted to her Sambusa (pastry shells filled with mildly spicy lentils). You just can't beat the price. I also always get the glutten-free injera when ordering meals for the family.

Took a friend here for birthday lunch - one of the best places she's chosen for us! I loved the veg combo - who knew cabbage and carrots could taste so good?! and the tastiest, crispest, least oily, most subtly seasoned lentil sambusas in the area. I'm going to order them for weekend brunches at home.Friend loves both meat and veg but is reluctant about spice - as requested, her chicken dish arrived perfectly seasoned with plenty of Injera and a side of greens - she dipped into both varieties of lentils on my plate. Delish. The space is spare and clean, the other patrons friendly - one brought us a cup of Ethiopian coffee - and the owner/chef like an old friend taking care of two old lady customers.Next time I will want a steaming bowl of chickpea Shiro as well as more sambusa - and a restful hour of quiet dining. As a take-out location, Elita would be a huge bargain. Inh-ouse, calm and welcoming and a great value..

I have had Ethiopian sambusas at numerous places in the metro area, and the ones made here are by far my favorite. The right amount of heat, and a slightly different taste than others. Made fresh which makes a big difference.

First time eating at this local restaurant and it won’t be the last! Every dish of six we tried was excellent. The injera was fantastic. The Doro Wat was deeply pungent and spiced so the heat built slowly. The lightly fried fish in the “goulash” managed to stay crunchy and tasteful. Lega Tibs, the vegan combo and Awaze tibs were excellent, each dish was rich, savory and the flavors all different. The owner/chef clearly took pride preparing the dishes and was eager to share. The prices are quite reasonable and We can’t wait to try everything on the menu.

I visited this restaurant one weekday afternoon and found a well established eatery that pleasantly outfitted though small. The menu was full and fun. I had the lamb with onions, peppers and tomatoes accompanied with injerra bread but also with a side of delicious collard green, which in my opinion, was the star of the meal. I also had a samosa made with beef and lentils and the crust was so beautifully flaky. I was surprised to find this restaurant but I'm glad I did. I highly recommend it.

I’ve had many restaurants I’ve tried in the past, and this one takes the cake! Almaz is the owner and she has the best service , the best Eritrean food and coffee! The dry ribs and doro wat is my favorite but everything is BOMB. Come here and you won’t be disappointed!

The owner is wonderful and so is the food. I have been to many ethiopian Eritrean places and this is top notch.

so delish and really cheap! we got a ton of food for only $20.
