Food is excellent! I really like the food here. I believe that this food is the closest I've found to food that I had in India. The reason for four stars was the lack of attentiveness at lunch. We were really the only table (for the first half of our meal) and we waited and waited for service. Very unfortunate. If I have another experience like that in store, I'll probably just order to-go from that point on. But, if you like Indian food, highly recommend this place.
Sorry to say that we are very Disappointed this time :-(We ordered Biriyanis, Chilli Paneer and Naan. Paneer was very very hard with lot of food color and Sauce. Only Naan was good.Biriyani has limited chicken/Mutton pieces.
Never disappointed here. Came 4-5 times here and always get excellent service and halal food. Their momo taste really so good. We were fasting, and they served us exactly to the iftar time. We’re impressed.
We love the food at this place but for some reason, they never give the delivery drivers the mango lassis we order. We've tried calling them to flag the issue. They tell us they'll fix it. Yet it keeps happening. Not sure if this happens to everyone but if so, why have something on the menu that they can't produce?
Pricey but worth the money! Folks rave about their butter chicken but don't snooze on their chicken tikka masala. Those chick peas and tadka daal are so flavorful loaded with garlic, onions, and spices you can taste in each bite. It's also a place that makes it spicy and not that weak level spice too! Try that ghost pepper chicken curry for a flavor unlike anything you had. The spice is not overpowering but well balanced with the flavors of coriander, tomatoes, fenugreek, and more. Slightly citrus with a punch or ghost pepper spice! it's worth it!! (See photo which doesn't do it justice.) My family also loved the goat curry and nicely cooked, basmati rice and naan made super deliciously. Their menu includes more Indochinese options too which is a cuisine that needs more attention! I'm definitely going to try some more of those in our next visits.
Honestly been looking for a decent Indian restaurant in the DMV for over a decade. This place is delicious, reasonably priced, and the service is solid. I've now done dine in and takeout and it's been great either way.
Get the lamb, its a savory party for your tastedubds. Also the garlic bread is 5 stars and the mango Lasse is as good as one's I've had in Bombay.Portion sizes are 100% sharable, if you can get the other person to share their deliciousness.
Food were really delicious. Every thing was well cooked. Most lovely thing is that they sell halal food. I love this place. Decorations are really so good. Moreover there behavior is very nice.
Wanted to eat in but was told only take-out because their internet was down. That made no sense. Waited 20 minutes for food. Got home and one of the two dishes was RAW chicken. My daughter and I had to travel back to Curry Palace in the freezing cold. They gave us another dish but was too upset to eat. I thought that replacing the dish and giving a refund would be more appropriate. I’ve been a customer for many years but felt like a stranger when there was an issue with the food. Very disappointed.
I don't know why this place has any bad reviews. The food is DELICIOUS. Generous portions, prompt service, and did I mention the food is fantastic? I have no complaints. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
