This is my wife's and my go-to Thai spot in Silver Spring. It's amazing. We've probably tried 25 different dishes over the past 3 years, and between delivery and dine-in have probably ordered here 40 times. It has ALWAYS been amazing. I'm not kidding when I say that we've never had a mediocre or bad experience there; it's just consistently perfect. Their staples like pad thai, green curry, panang curry, and tom kha soup are all fantastic. But what truly sets this place apart is the constantly rotating list of chef's specials. My family lived in Thailand when I was a kid, and this place takes me right back to my time there.If you live in the area, be sure to use the restaurant's own website to order take-out or delivery through them.
There’s nothing charming about this place! I ordered the dinner shrimp fried rice and they only give 4 large shrimps, unbelievable such a stingy establishment.
Charm Thai is our local go-to spot for quick delivery. Love that they have their own delivery service (if within range) so you don't have to just rely on Uber Eats or a similar service with their own markup.I love their panang curry and their fried dumplings. Their food is always on point, and their delivery is almost always ahead of schedule.I haven't personally dined in, just pick up or delivery, but if you're in the area, definitely check Charm out!
Great food, usually consistently good even when ordering through Uber Eats, but sometimes the restaurant just forgets to include rice with their dishes. Make it clear in the notes and maybe that will help? Otherwise, there's no recourse.
The best Thai food in silver spring. I think I’ve tried every Thai restaurant downtown and Charm Thai is the best. The pad see ew and the Pad Thai are amazing. I’ve tried some of their curries and other random dishes that were also good.
My favorite Thai place in Silver Spring. Love the Pad See Eaw and the panang curry. Delivery is consistently quick and reliable.
"Don't expect Thai food from there"Item: Tom Yum Soup, Pad Ka Pow, Crispy Duck Ka Pow, Thai Iced Tea / Total: $37.6+ PRO: Good Thai tea, OK price.–CON: Nothing like Thai food, flavorless, overly salty and sweet.Aside from the Thai tea, the rest of the dishes taste nothing like Thai food. Their Pad Ka Pow is not made with ground meat and lacks spices(see image). I barely sense the basil. Better buying instant packages from the Asian market and cooking , than getting food from there.
OMG, everything is amazing. Not sure yet how to order Thai hot but nothing has disappointed us yet. Great service, great food, great people!
