We came here for Sunday brunch. The restaurant has ample indoor and outdoor seating, and is very lovely. We were seated immediately with no wait. It was our first time there. We both found the menu very odd, there was no basic egg dish (scramble, omelette, etc). So we both ordered side dishes to have eggs and home fries. There are no plant based milks for the coffee. The cornbread is delicious. The biggest problem that I had was the fact thay 20% gratuity is automatically included and our service was horrible. The waiter took forever to take our order. Once our food came, he didn't check on us until we were finished. I had to ask a busboy for help to find him. I asked him a second time when he didn't appear, and the busboy ended up just bringing me another coffee himself.
Came by here on my way home randomly for lunch. It must be pretty busy spot because the hostess informed us we basically had to be out in a little over an hour because of a big party reservation. The way we got to see the quickly and it took a little while but then we got a waiter to come take our order. The happy hour menu is not very expensive that is the cause of the four stars because the food came out quickly it takes the good the service was good but they literally had like six items for happy hour. They also didn't have the traditional items you would think would be on a happy hour and such as wings and more specialty drinks. Overall I will recommend but make sure to make an appointment and be expected to pretty much pay full price even if she comes on happy hour at times if you want a predominant amount of meals.
This is the best restaurant in Downtown Silver Spring. Black owned. I’ve been here several times always a pleasurable and fabulous experience. It's a very fun atmosphere and the food was delicious. So far I’ve tired the crispy salmon, cornbread, seafood pasta, brick chicken, oysters, fried shrimp, and trout crab are delicious. My favorite drink is the pink and pretty. Great place for date night/happy hour. Our waitress also sings at brunch on Sunday’s, she’s fantastic and has a great personality. Variety of items on the menu, ample seating with eclectic decor. Everyone working there seemed like they were having a good time. I’ll be back for brunch, I highly recommend this restaurant.
This place is the True definition of 5 star restaurant. My waitress was one of the best servers I had in years, she knew the menu an was pleased to serve. I don't remember her name but she sings live every Saturday to the customers. The Old Bay wings were excellent along with the cornbread. I ordered chicken an biscuit an was highly satisfied. The restroom was clean an the drinks were on point. Full bar with good choice of cocktails an beer?.I will definitely be returning an recommended all my friends. P.s. make reservations if you plan on going during the weekend or you might wait to be served ?.
I think the food here was pretty good and the drinks are definitely great. When we went it was a bit packed so it was a little loud and busy. As a result, the wait staff kept forgetting things for our orders. Overall I think I would still go back on a slower day since the food was really good and you could see that the servers were super overwhelmed.
We made a Sunday brunch reservation a few days ahead for 1:00pm for a party of 3 and we arrived to be told that there wasn’t a table ready. We stood and waited and checked back 15 minutes later — still no table. It took them 25 minutes to get us seated and it seemed a bit odd to have a confirmed reservation just for us to end up waiting anyway, like why bother?I know it wasn’t the staff’s fault, but it’s also on the customers. People need to be more considerate of others and know not to linger around at the table for an additional hour or two after they’re done eating (especially during busy brunch hours) — you’re just hogging up the table for no reason. That issue aside, the food and service were both great. One feedback I do have for the restaurant. I wish the cornbread came as a full portion so that everyone at the table could actually have a slice — it came as 1/3 of a whole. Why not just give us the entire cornbread? It’s already $9, which is a lot for cornbread. The oysters here were fresh and delicious and a must try. All the entrees were generous portions and worth the price. The clam chowder was not the best and was served in a small coffee cup for $10 — I’d recommend passing on that. The lunch/dinner menu was also pretty good. The smoked bbq options were great and we had the brisket and pulled pork. The mac and cheese and fries were great sides.
All set is one of my favorite restaurants because everything is always so simple! Decided the day before to have dinner with a couple friends in celebration of my birthday and it was amazing. Our table was prepared as soon as we walked in and we were greeted by Jacob/Jake and he was so kind. I ordered the fried oysters (definitely newer on the menu and they were good). I do wish they were a little more on the spicy side but still incredible. Had the seafood pasta and it was good as well. A little too heavy so I saved some for later. It’s so rare for restaurants to split the bill nowadays but there were 10 of us and our bill was split. Things were just so smooth and it was an amazing birthday dinner.
It is rare to get a restaurant that can consistently produce perfectly cooked seafood but over several visits, All Set consistently delivers! The barbeque was also excellent!
This place was absolutely incredible. Kind service, quick meals, and absolutely delicious food. Do not hesitate to come here for brunch.
Service was really good overall..great energy and knowledgeable on the menu items. My lobster roll was delicious. The old bay wings were also a good size for sharing and well fried. My friends bacon was a bit overcooked and she wasn't a big fan of the French toast. I dont think it will be a go to brunch place but maybe for a nice happy hour
