I ordered the grilled chicken salad, with Italian dressing the salad itself and the grilled chicken was delicious but the Italian dressing had no flavor at all.. it also came with an order of garlic knots which were basically just rolled up and baked no flavor of garlic or anything.. but the people were nice there
We were a party of 8 from ages 10 to 90. Fast, friendly, and great food! We were seated right away with a fun, courteous, and efficient server that got everything correct and kept it moving from drinks to apps to entrees to dessert. We tried so many different things and left with food for days to come. Everyone loved their pasta entrees and the veggie white pizza was delicious too! The salads were fresh. Veggie roll was awesome. Cheesy garlic bread was moist and garlicky! The desserts were amazing: lemoncello, tiramisu, and cannolis.
Please if you are reading this do not go there expecting good Italian food. I ordered a chicken parm dinner and they gave me two horrible chicken tenders covered in flavorless pasta sauce and lightly coated in cheese. The pasta tasted like it was cooked five years ago and the garlic knots didn't even taste like garlic it tasted like cardboard. My wife's ravioli and shrimp dinner was also bland and disgusting but I didn't try it. By far the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at and I've eaten some shady food before.
I ordered take out for my girlfriend and her friend. They were both in the mood for Italian, and I was out of town. None of us had ever tried this place. Delivery came right on time, and it was absolutely delicious. Food tends to lose a little bit of the luster during delivery, but not this place. It almost seemed like it came right out of the kitchen. If delivery is that good, I can’t even imagine how amazing it would be to sit and dine! Thank you for the delicious food, we will be returning customers and recommending it to all of our family and friends!
We called and asked if they had table seating and we were there 10 minutes later and they would not take us because they said they were closing early. It would been nice to share that info when we called
One of my favorite places around Salisbury. Every dish I’ve had has always been outstanding. The service is always great & it’s always clean.

Stopped in for a drink with a friend and sat at the bar. My friend did have food and said it was excellent. Elizabeth was our server. She was fantastic! We will definitely be back.
This place deserves zero stars. EVERY Saturday night, after posted business hours, cafe italiano turns into an unruly night club (11 p - 2 a) and is a disturbance to local residents. This establishment has no regard for locals trying to sleep. The music is so loud that building infrastructures shake. Hard working individuals, infants, and the elderly continue to lose sleep. Sound machines, fans, noise canceling headphones - nothing works to drown the constant noise disturbance out. Sadly, the worst part about it all is that their patrons stay even later, until 3-4 AM (EVERY Saturday) drinking, blasting music from their cars and getting into fights in the public parking lot that backs up to an apartment complex. How is all of this okay? Residents should have the right to feel safe and live/rest peacefully. Loitering, open containers, drunk/disorderly in public and loud constant noise disturbances are all against the law. Shame on you cafe italiano for promoting such reckless behavior. You wouldn’t have a business without the support of locals. How about reciprocating that generosity, turn the music down on Saturday nights and tell your patrons to move on once you close up shop for the night.
Ordered a 16” pizza with “a little extra sauce.”$18.01. Pizza was average at best.
