I had the jibneh (3 cheese pizza with za'tar seasoning) and it was pretty good! It's not your classic pizza, there are no tomato sauce pizzas here. I experienced quick and friendly service. The bottom of the pizza is black and gives a slight burnt taste. They have a little indoor shop with jellies, spices, hummus, and small batch potato chips. If you are a fan of no sauce pizzas or have dietary restrictions, I recommend checking this place out.
Delicious......very fresh... and really excellent flavors!Home made stuff.Love the amazing fresh and chewy delicious homemade flatbread dough on their personal pizza sized meals! The Lebanese Bride was very fresh and delicious.Cool middle eastern music and vibe and great coffee! They're bringing in shawarma and some new menu items!Manoushe is...Very tasty!
Great flatbreads! Really great flavor and good size. A bit pricey but worth it for me. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well. The first picture is of their hot halaby honey flatbread. The second is their lahm bi ajeen. I have tried majority of their menu and it is all very tasty, but my favorite so far has been the hot halaby honey. It is savory while also being sweet at the same time.
Lovely people, wonderful food. Our first time there, but we'll be back soon! Pictured below are the Classic Plus and the Cocktail breads. Halvah for dessert. Easy to get to from I-270. Go now!
I ordered the Toum Raider and the Hot Halaby Honey - both were delicious!! The manoushe is super crispy and chewy, and the toppings are fresh and full of flavor. I came here on a Friday during lunch, it wasn’t busy and it was super easy to find parking. The food was all freshly made to order, didn’t take too long and the folks at Z&Z are so warm and friendly ❤️. The restaurant is beautifully painted and decorated with curated art. They’ve really done a great job with this place, can’t wait to come back again ??
Z&Z Manoushe bakery, is literally the HOME of the best Middle Eastern flatbreads and spices!! I discovered them after their Za’atar spice mix came highly recommended by one of my favourite foodies on Instagram. From the minute I walked in to the bakery/restaurant I felt a really warm welcome from the smell of the freshly baking manoushe & the Z&Z team!!I had the Lebanese Bride (labneh sprinkled with za’atar, tomatoes, cucumber, mint and drizzled with olive oil) & Hot Halaby Honey (three-cheese blend topped with sujuk, honey, and aleppo pepper)!! ?? Both of which had me nodding and dancing at the table!! 10/10!!
Delicious! If you like tomatoes, warm-fresh bread, mint, sesame, cucumbers, and/or garlic, this place will have something wonderful for you! Enjoyed every bite! It appears to be a local family owned and operated restaurant, bonus!
I'm so happy to have found this gem of a place! You can smell the fresh bread from the parking lot before you even walk in the door. We got the lahm bi ajeen, jibneh, and Lebanese bride to share and the bread for each of them was perfect with a crispy bottom and pillow-y crust. Paired perfectly with the strong black tea they have. The family who owns and runs the restaurant has an amazing story, and you can tell the care and dedication that went into the place, from the art on the walls to the beautiful lush green plants that greet you when you walk in! A great place for a quick bite or a longer lunch with friends. Definitely worth the drive from Arlington and will be back soon to try the rest of their menu!
Tried the place on a weekend evening. Had the beef based Manoushe. The bread was very good and made me feel like I am back in Middle East. The toppings were all fresh. The only issue I had was the topping felt very watery and didn’t give the strong meat flavor that I like.I have had this item earlier, the quality is certainly there but the item felt a bit overpriced for 10 inch size.
There's nothing better than starting your morning off with fresh man'ouches. Z&Z's cute ambiance, delicious recipes, and warm drinks will have you wanting to come back as soon as possible. Wonderful service, a welcoming team, and must-visit in the DMV area.
