The tropical l, unique and traditional ice cream flavors were amazing. It was so hot out I forgot to photograph my order and that of my companion. We ordered a half and half cone with chocolate and mango, and an ice cream float.The ice cream at York Castle is a wonderful balance of flavor and creaminess that is not overwhelmingly syrupy sweet. The sweet to creamy texture ratio was in balance that made the ice cream that much more decadent.The float was graciously served with a generous amount of ice cream, akin to what you'd get in the Midwest, and the soda on the side so that you can mix it up how you'd like, the normal mix option was available but it was so hot this was the most logical.Staff was helpful and patient with my indecisive self, but come on it's ice cream, picking only a couple flavors is difficult.Only suggestions would be a menu that a bit closer to read, I forgot my glasses and it was hard to see. Totally worth the journey for the joy of ice cream.
If you live in Montgomery county and haven't had this ice cream, you are really missing out.This place is fantastic. Great ice cream, and they have amazing flavors. Flavors you're not getting anywhere else.Their Rum Raisin is ridiculous. And so are mango and guava.

They have very unique flavors here. I got the Lucuma ice cream, which I've never tried before, and it was good! Its flavor was so interesting; at first, it tasted slightly like alcohol at first with notes of starchiness like a potato. After you kept eating it though, that flavor goes away and you get a mild papaya-like taste. I would come here again for sure!I got only "one scoop", but it was definitely more than I was expecting. Not a bad thing though!

Really good ice creams. I usually get hand packed cans of ice cream. My favorites are guava and rum raisin. They have a lot of fruit based ice creams.Guava- The guava has actual fruit chunks in it and the ice cream is very creamy.Run raisin: it’s a very unique flavor. It may not be every one’s taste though.You can try flavors there before buying.
Regardless of the cold weather, my family enjoyed the variety flavor of the ice cream. The price is reasonable, the size is generous and the staff are friendly.
