Amazing restaurant!!! I have been going there for years and the portions are always big. I will continue going for years to come and I would recommend to anyone who wants authentic Korean cuisine.
깐풍기&탕수육 are the best I've ever had! Crispy but not hard, it was the perfect balance of soft and chewy but also with a good crunch. I definitely want to return sometime soon!
Amazing authentic Korean-style Chinese food! (Yes, that’s a thing). If you’re craving authentic jja-jang myun and jjam-bbong, this is the place to go to, you will not be disappointed!
짬뽕 was still flavorful but.. It's no longer a seafood soup but rather an onion soup with some sparse seafood.Not sure what happened to the 짜장 but it seemed like it was straight uncooked paste, very intense saltiness. At least we packed it to-go so we could cook it up proper and have another meal.The consistency of the 탕수육 is ... Not good. The outer crisp crumbled like sand and the texture was very off-putting.
I lived in Korea for 15 months and this food takes me back. It was so good. I got the ja jang myon and we shared dumplings. My spouse got gochu japjae, which was more peppers than noodles but very good. We will definitely be going back.
Our favorite Korean Chinese food! Jajeongmeung is great! And big portions!
Staff doesn't speak much english, but they were very nice. Lots of Koreans here so guess it is authentic. Portions were good and food was tasty. You have to enter from Taft.

The food was alright and it was nothing special.However, I've never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant before. The waitress was very attentive to other customers but ignored our table. When she gave us our dishes she would place them down pretty aggressively and walk off. She never even came to fill up our tea, but she did with other customers (there was not a lot of customers by the way.) Her attitude with other customers was very kind, but she purposefully ignored us (didn't even look at us even though our table was in the middle) She didnt even offer to give us the check while we were clearly finished, we had to get up and ask her for it.We didn't do anything to provoke her to act that way since we were quiet, we were respectful towards her and we acted like any other customer. We talked quietly, and ate. I honestly think the reason she acted this way was because she was a hard-core traditionalist who hated seeing non Koreans with Koreans. I'm speculating thats the reason why because i cannot find any other reason. I will never come back here again.
