I have been buying subs here for quite a while.The last two times I ordered a sub, I asked for them to be light on the mayonnaise. They slopped a mound of mayonnaise on the subs,they were disgusting. I had to wipe off all the mayonnaise and it still tasted strange. I guess I was disgusted after I got a mouth full of mayonnaise. The first time I let it go, the second time I called and tried talking to the manager. The man behind the counter hung up on me. I called back and he said, "we are busy now, you have to hold for 5 minutes. I didn't bother holding. Goodbye ?
Awesome beer and wine selection, sandwiches are hit (Italian sub) or miss (cheese steak) and can take a while.

I went to Twinbrook Deli around 4 PM. I ordered two regular cold cuts, one I added turkey too, then myself I got a large club - RB, Ham, Turkey. All the subs were customized with toppings. The bread was horrible. By the time I got 20 min to Olney is was mush. Meat falling through. I was also surprised to see that they don’t slice their own meat fresh to order. They pulled my meat out of a giant plate, one for turkey, ham, and RB. Each plate had tons of sliced meat, separated by wax paper. None was sliced fresh for subs. (Sorry but Jersey mikes can do it, I expect a full deli to be able to handle it).. as they put my meat on the sub, I watched them pull back the soggy wax paper. The taste of the meat and sub was ok. But nothing like I expected. I spent $37 for the 3 subs, and they were all decent size, so fairly priced. After I paid though, I went back and asked for a side of oil and vinegar.. this place uses what I would describe as italian dressing as their oil and vinegar. Which actually was decent. But when I went back and asked for one side, after ordering 3 subs, one being a large.. they made a stink about me owing 50 cents for it. If you grew up eating at this place , then I’m sure it will bring back memories. But Jersey mikes makes better subs and it’s not even close . They did have a nice beer selection. Overall I would say between 2-3*. I gave it two because I was disappointed after reading so many positive reviews. It’s possible new staff are affecting some aspects.
Three people working the deli, and none can't understand one simple order in English. The owner has a cow about prepayment for the order. Man, how times have changed when the original management was American. I'm going to avoid this place like the plague.

I have been going to twinbrook deli since I was a kid. Many different owners but the cold cut always stayed the same. Im so sad that the owners have changed the bread and meat to the cold cut. My taste buds were so ready for twinbrook deli classic of many years. Please go back to what it was
