This review is entirely based on their onion rings. I mean the burgers are okay, maybe three stars, but the onion rings are perfect. Fresh from the fryer, bite sized, not those huge things where you bite in and the whole onion slides out, crunchy, never soggy, not those awful beer battered onion rings. These are perfect. I like to grab a sub from Jersey Mike's two doors down, then bring it here and get the onion rings, so perfect.
A fresh good quality traditional burger and fries. Good sized portions. Really would give 41/2 stars if it would let me. Seems like everything was freshly cooked to order. Attentive service. Also worth mentioning my Fountain Soda was great too. Really. (They aren't always).
The Habit Burger is a small chain of fast casual restaurants that begun in 1969 in Santa Barbara, CA. Their charbroiled burgers are made to order, as well as their fries, onion rings, salads and shakes. I had their single burger, which comes with everything, an order of onions rings and a chocolate malt. Because I downloaded their app I got a free burger with a drink!The burger was hot and delicious, and so where the French fries and onion rings I ordered later. I also got a Santa Barbara salad to go and roasted Brussel sprouts. The place was impeccably clean, and the service was efficient and fast, considering that everything is made to order!
Thanks to the kind folks at Habit Burger Grill, I got another chance to try the impossible burger with cheese and grilled onions. This time I asked for it to be cooked medium and they did so perfectly, it was delicious. I inhaled it in a few minutes.Really nice people here who reached out to me and asked to give them a second chance after an earlier order was not great. They earned a repeat customer because of this great customer service and confidence in their product. These little differences mean a lot on the competitive burger-scape.I'll be back to try more things on the menu. If it as good as today's burger, then I know I will be pleased. Give them a try (or a second try in my case), I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Have eaten here on multiple occasions and have taken several different folks as well. Every experience is one of pleasant eating!It is a delightful surprise to relish in the hot and juicy simplicity of the signature burger. Doubling down each time, i add a teriyaki burger also, rather than eating fries—and it is also stellar in its delivery to the taste buds. As an aside, i have tried my friend’s fries and they bring it!!!Habit also offers other interesting menu options like salads but so far i regularly get that combo of burgers each time —all the while spending less than $10 for the pair (of burgers)!! Can’t beat it! Would recommend Habit over FIVEguys all day every day
My 1st visit. Got a cheese burger, fries, and soda. Burger was very good. Love the crisp hot fries! Will stop by again on my next visit to Rockville for sure! Have to mention the friendly crew too!
When I arrived for my carryout, I was not acknowledged. One employee saw me, turned around & went to the fryers. Another @ the register was on a personal call with her back to me. I stood there waiting for someone to provide service. A man stacking buns appeared to tell the employee @ the fryer to check on me. She heard him, looked @ me but ignored his request. After some time, the employee on the phone finally ended her call & addressed me. As for the food, burgers were dry, overcooked, & had no flavor, buns weren't toasted, lettuce and tomato were old & mushy. Fries & onion rings were super dry, overcooked, seemed to be sitting out for hours. I SO regret having ordered from this location. The service/food was horrible. Highly dissatisfied with the whole experience!The first time I ordered from the Habit Burger Grill, it was a totally different experience! It was @ the North Frederick location. Their service/food was excellent! We'll be returning to THAT location in the future.
Had lunch there today. Had a terrific hamburger. Will be back.
Placed an order for curbside pickup 15 min in advance. When I parked I saw another car park for curbside get a big meal and left while I was still waiting. In total I was parked for over 20 min before I received my order that was only two burgers. Absolutely unacceptable could have gone in and ordered and it would have taken the same amount of time.
Great burger and salads! I feel like they are missing a signature sauce.
