Reuben sandwich, bagels, red velvet cookies and red velvet brownies, all to go; this is our “usual "order. My wife was born in Manhattan, brought up eating Rueben sandwiches. The Bean Bag Deli in Maryland has that same delicious taste and it feels like we are traveling to New York every time.The service is always on point, courteous, personable, and fast.
Stopped by on a whim. Honestly, I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years and never stopped in. From the moment I walked in the door I was warmly greeted, and met with a diverse and expansive menu. My sandwich was out of this world. Most of all the employees made me feel like they appreciate my business. That will keep me coming back. Well done.
I stopped in while waiting for my appointment at the beauty spa next door. I'm so glad i did.Wow, I had no clue places like this existed in this area walking in made me feel like I was 300-400 miles north and I absolutely loved it!!! Just a very inviting and good feel of a hard working community business.The attitude of the staff was fun, upbeat and again it felt like I feel when visiting family up north.. I absolutely adore the charm of the business.The best part was the food was really good.I was excited to see a sandwich like the Rachel on the menu. I'm a huge fan of sauerkraut and turkey especially boar's head, yummy!!! They also have amazing treats; cookies, brownies and blondies so I grab a few for my daughter. This honestly is just an overall great lunch stop.Highly recommend you drop by this deli.
This place is absolutely fantastic. The sandwiches are delicious. The staff is very friendly and informative. Place is clean and inviting. That have hot dogs and breakfast and coffee as well. The cookies are amazing and I really enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place anytime of day.
I would like to begin with how pleasant Mitchell is at this location. He is very welcoming and made me feel at home . Helped me with the ordering process it being my first time I was a little confused. My wife ordered the New Yorker and I am sold that hands down probably one of the best cold cuts I've ever taken a bit out of . I'd recommend this company for any service whether it be catering or for lunch. 5 stars all the way around . Can't be let down with great service 45 years of greatness.
Hands down my favorite place to grab a sandwich or a salad (or a hot dog if I'm feeling adventurous). They have also handled multiple catering jobs for me and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for that. If you love cookies, they also have that perfected. Mitchell and company are the best!

I'll give a great review because the food is amazing when it's made correctly. Unfortunately they have severely messed up 2 sandwiches in the last few weeks and the sandwiches aren't cheap.
This place has quickly become a regular stop for me after discovering it. The owner is a no-nonsense kind of guy that you can just tell makes a good sandwich and he's almost always there. All of the sandwiches I've had are great, but my favorite are the bean bag sub (their Italian) and the roast beef with horseradish cheddar. I've had them cater two small event, a staff breakfast and an assortment of appetizers for a church event of 35 people. Everyone raved about the food and everything about it was easy. This place is a gem.
No matter what time of day you hit this place up, the manager is always ready with a smile and professional service. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are a great way to start off the morning, and they have a wide array of other coffee-based items and drinks.
