Having grown up with Mexican food, it's been frustrating trying so many DC area "Mexican" restaurants that turn out to be Peruvian or Salvadoran or Honduran. All excellent, but from the wrong continent.Xintli tastes like *home*, and I am going to keep going back.My favorite part is that as an adult I've cut out meat and dairy for cholesterol reasons, and Xintli has *excellent* selection for vegan and vegetarian diets. I'm not talking about the trendy veggie burgers from Impossible or whoever; I'm talking about pureed garbanzos, sauteed flores de calabaza, perfectly grilled nopales.If you're omnivorous or vegan or anything in between, go out of your way to try xintli! It is my new favorite in the entire region and a rare opportunity to try actual Mexican cuisine
We tried the food today for the first time and it did not dissapoint! The tacos were fresh and sumptuous! Their hot salsa was HOT for real! We tried tacos and sope today but all the items on their menu look fantastic. We will be back to try each of them! Also, their veggie options were amazing! A must try for taco lovers and must go to for vegetarian taco lovers!!! Lastly, the portions were filling and the service, kind and prompt. The people inside were working with their masks on!I already what I am getting next... can't wait to go back for the chilaquiles and plantain mexicana!!!???❤❤❤Thank you for the delicious food! Fantastic tacos. Great meat selection and ingredients packed with lot's of flavor. I found Xintli online and didn't know what to expect, so I was surprised to find out it's actually a food truck, but I was blown away regardless. Prices are super reasonable too. Thinking about going back again tomorrow for seconds!
This was a wonderful surprise for a mundane day!!! The chilupa, the QUESIDILLA, the drinks, AND the tacos, all THE options!!! I will be coming back!
Food was flavorful and large portion. Service was kind. I’ll definitely be going back whenever im in the area. Some people may feel the food is pricey but considering that these are every day folks like you and me, I highly appreciate people who have the courage to make their own path, especially if it’s feeding the neighborhood “a piece of home”. Wholly molly their tacos are amazing! I have to say that I think these are the best tacos I've ever had in my life. I only wish I had bought more. They are on the smaller side, but filled with meat. Worth every penny in my opinion. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis since they are just down the street from where we live. Please don't leave or area!

Great food & generous portions. The best we has were the huitlacoche quesadillas & flor de calabaza quesadillas, and the fried plantains for dessert (they come w sprinkles & jam & condensed milk on top; it seems like it would be too much but it works!). The quesadillas are on corn tortillas but are HUGE. The horchata & tamarind drinks are delicious as well. The tacos al pastor were a little on the salty side but otherwise everything was very good. It's esp great to have such good quality & variety & quantity from a food truck -- how do they do it?!
