The food tasted great. The atmosphere is very clean, light and comfortable. Beef with broccoli had a very tasty sauce which was much better than at other Chinese restaurants I've tried.
Great food and even better service! Flora treated us like royalty! The kids loved the food, which is a big win. They immediately asked when they can come back to their favorite, new restaurant. Five stars all around!
Ordered from here once before with no issues, but when I ordered this time around, it was a bit of a let down. I ordered online, but when I got to the store, I was told they didn’t receive my order, even though it was through their website (that I have ordered through before)…. I then saw my name and order on their processing portal. Hm. Then I was then told they made my order wrong and it needed to be redone. So which one was it? You didn’t get my order, or it was wrong? I then proceeded to wait an additional 10 min before my food was ready. Now the food. The fried rice very was good, but the crab and cheese wontons were very disappointing. There was a minuscule amount of filling, and on top of that, they were way too tough and chewy. Didn’t seem to be a fresh order. $15 spent on two order of those wontons was definitely not worth it. Couldn’t even eat them. Staff was courteous, so I appreciated that.
Highly disappointing. They wouldn’t substitue my white rice for fried rice. The teriyaki chicken is just grilled chicken with hardly any teriyaki. It also comes with some gross salad that is mostly liquid. I did not finish eating the meal and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
I ordered sesame beef to go from this “””resturant”””. It was big chunks of uncooked beef with a few sesame seeds on top. Looks and tastes horrible. I also ordered fried rice, which was the worst I have ever had. I called the resturant to share my experience. The woman who answered kept talking non-stop and never ever spoke a single word of empathy; that their customer is not satisfied. Please don’t go there, it is a waste of your money.
Pretty good food! If you’re looking for authentic Chinese/Taiwanese food, look at the chef specials, that’s what we went with. Their menu has a ton of variety with quite a few cuisines, whether that’s a good or bad thing, I’m not really sure. The restaurant itself isn’t very busy, so there weren’t very many servers. Nonetheless, definitely give this place a shot for tasty, affordable food.
Both the food and the service at Taipei Tokyo in Rockville were excellent. Flora in particular was knowledgeable about the food and very pleasant. Food was ready fast as well, which is very appreciated. Overall, I was very pleased with this restaurant.
This place js consistently good. Service could be better, but the food and efficiency make up for it.
HUGE portions for dinner, oh myyy! I took 2 bites and I was full! The staff is very genuine, serves kindly and I can’t wait to be back to try something new. Thank you to Flora and Leu!
