Still a wonderful restaurant after several years of not dining out.
Iâve been coming here for over a decade. It really holds up. Its been about 2 years since I came in after having a bad experience here during quarantine. Yesterday was my first time back. The staff are noticeably younger, and it seemed a few people were shadowing or training others. My service was good. The music however⦠when I come to an establishment such ad this I donât expect to hear vulgar language and expletives during my dining experience. Unfortunately about 10 minutes after seating the music changed and it was not pleasant and I had to apologize to the person I was taking a call with for the raunchy music in the background. Other than this place continues to hold up after all this time.
Never seen such meager portions. Priced per piece not for 2, items really small, so small made me laugh and think of Nouvelle Cuisine, but without the quality. Actual quality was not bad, but certainly not good enough to make up for lack of proportion.Service was slow even with only a couple of tables occupied.Not worth the price.
I understand that the aftermath of covid resulted in slower service. However, not once did our server stop at our table to see how our food was, if we needed anything else or if we were happy with our food. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lovely. unfortunately the food is mediocre and the service is not great.

Worst service. Waitress was training but not her fault. Ordered, interruptions that were awkward at best but after food arrived told that they be closing in 30 minutes and to hurry up. Rookie personnel who failed at customer service or self awareness. Great food. Left a lot of it because of ….Poor management on night of Friday 17 th between 830 pm until closing.
Great fish! Really good service. They didn't have everything available on the menu, but what that had was really good. I recommend Sushi Damo!
The food wasn’t what it has been on the past. My sushi hardly had any fish in it and tasted like blow torch. It was mostly rice. My tomago just tasted like cold egg. I probably won’t be dining here again.

Went because reviews were good. We had an early dinner with some work colleagues. Service was okay but slow considering we were the only people in restaurant when we sat down. Sushi was okay. Nothing really special but it was fine.
