The Peruvian chicken is delicious! I had the meal with green beans and fried plantains. Outstanding. I dare say as good as Sardi’s.
Chicken is always delicious. The sides are almost always delicious but sometimes they will serve you stale fries. Other than that, very good food and service.
Incredible proportions and great prices. I wanted everything! It looked so good! Plantains! Just how I remember in Miami! Russel sprouts and carrots! Fried rice with onions! Yum yum yum!
I had used Poyoteca's catering service for a family party of about 30 earlier this year and was extremely pleased with the amount and tastiness of the food, the quality of their service , the extraordinary price for such a wonderful feast. When I recently helped organize a reunion picnic for an office I worked in, I contacted Poyateca again for a group of 60 folks.They provided the same outstanding value for the $$, and were a breeze to work with. I must have had 10 people attending the reunion ask me for the name of the caterer - usually starting out by saying "This food is great! Where did you get it!".I highly recommend using Poyoteca if you want delicious Peruvian rotisserie chicken and sides at a terrific price.
1st time there for a late lunch (I don't live here, just pass by). Ordered quarter chicken with 2 sides (green beans and Brussels sprouts). The food tasted great. Loved the chicken and both veggies. Will definitely come back next time in this area.
My friend and I have ordered from this restaurant plenty of times because it is so good. However, the only problem we have every single time is that the chicken is pink on the inside. We ordered again on good faith and asked them to cook the chicken all the way through. Again, the chicken was pink. We both have food poisoning now. Please save yourself the trouble and the pain and go somewhere else. I’m only giving it one star because I can’t do zero.
They catered lunch for us today. I was absolutely delicious. Can i say the sauces are definitely better than the competitor and they give you more of it. my associates at all the chicken but the fried rice better than the rest.
Stopped here with some friends while visiting the Aquarium, it was very clean inside with plenty of places to seat, once we figure out how to order we were given a ticket and we're seated. It did not take too long for our food to arrive. I had the chicken bowl and it was really good, mixing everything together Gabe it a good flavor, it's a deep bowl so you have to dig in. This plac is well worth another visit.
Tried Poyoteca for the first time today and I must say that .... The Southwest Bowl was amazing! It is packed with flavor and it comes with a sauce, but trust me, you dont need it! All I can say is ..... Wow!!!! I am really excited to sample other items off of their menu. Lastly and importantly, the staff is great!
This place is fire.I got a quarter dark chicky and it was slammin. The meat is so tender and fresh and falls right off the bone.I also got the roasted russel sprouts and mac and cheese which were both really really good. Again, I could tell they had really fresh ingrediants and the crumbles on the mac was so so good.Def recomend this jaunt.
