The low ratings and complaints around the charge for sauce is outrageous. It’s not the staff’s fault. They are hard working and the food is always deliciously & hot. The gentleman who wear a diff color shirt (assuming the manager) is very pleasant even when he is dealing with needy customers. If I ever hesitate to stop at this location it is not because of the staff it would be me not having the energy to witness customers run this staff ragged.
Warning ⚠️Never go to this location for Popeyes unless you want to have a bad day and horrible customer service. Save yourself and just go to the other Popeyes on Rockville Pike. If I could leave no stars I would. They run out of the hot sauce and then try to charge you for having sauce for 5 pieces of chicken. When I asked the supervisor Jen she mocked me and said sorry we can give three sauces we have to charge you for that. My problem is this place always has something missing and just horrible customer service. Popeyes you should do a serious retaining with this staff on customer service. They are the worst location you have. If you are reading this Popeyes corporate you need to address this.
Look, I got 5 pieces of tasty spicy fried chicken for $7, I can’t complain much. One thing: they need to work out mobile orders. They were all on top of some kitchen thing. They need a large place where orders can easily be picked up. I waited 20 mins before I realized my order was there and I had to go up and ask for it. My local Popeye’s has one. It’s badly needed here. Otherwise, keep fryin’.
Customer service is terrible, as soon as I walked in I could just tell it was going to be terrible. While there wasn’t a line they were rushing my order and messed the order up. And when I asked for sauce like I usually do they said it wasn’t going to be free with the food I ordered since they only do it with chicken tenders and nuggets now. Even though chicken and the sandwiches are the main things on their menu they said they’re gonna charge 50¢ extra for each. When I usually get two with my meal for free. I didn’t mind but when I asked for the reason why they just said, “Either you pay for the sauce or you don’t.” I don’t get why they’re so stingy over sauce when I go to chick fil a they don’t even hesitate with throwing 5-6 sauces in my order.
Terrible service at this location. Wanted to get tartar sauce and the attendant refused to give me sauce because it doesn’t come with my chicken sandwich. It’s customer service things like this that separates the mediocre and the best and one thing I never question is Chick fil A’s service. Do better Popeyes.
Gotten better over the years but used to be very difficult to get selected pieces (dark) for my son. As a veteran Popeyes employee I knew these were the pieces we were fighting to give away and to get push back when requesting it was not welcoming. Service has improved though.
Went there and purchased one 24pc chicken family meal, only to realize that I would have to pay 50 cents for 1 sweetheat sauce, they claim that they only give out free sauce with nuggets and popcorn shrimp. They’re definitely nickel and diamond.
Tonight was my first time trying this location for to go order. I was with my little son, and we could feel the welcoming attitude from employees over the counter though they were very busy. Especially this particular employee who I am guessing Hispanic gentleman. He acknowledged us from early on and treated us so well. He made sure to make my little boy comfortable, gave us warm smiles and made sure we got a correct order. I appreciated his caring attitude and respectful manners. I would love to go back again soon! Spicy chicken sandwich is pressed meat. Not nearly as good as Chick filet. Given caloric load and trans fat, I'm done with Popeyes. Too bad because I really liked their spicy chicken.
I love going to this popeyes store, there food is really cooked well and their deals are amazing. Their staff members are really nice and hardworking. i buy food here all the time and the services is excellent. I recommend.
