Like the Xiao long boa.. and peking duck.I order an bang bang shrimp but was replaced by Beans dish..so didn't try yet.

Nice decor. Good location. Clean. The best part of the meal was the service and the appetizers. This is a borderline 4 star restaurant due to the appetizers but there were too many things off to earn 4.The crispy pork belly and fried eggplant are delicious. They are mouthwatering goodness. The salt and pepper shrimp was not very good compared to other local restaurants, like East Pearl, and at $21 it was overpriced. The double cooked pork belly lunch special was decent.Be prepared for fried rice that is not flavorful and appeared to barely have anything added to it other than a little egg. If they would have added even a little soy sauce when cooking it would have helped. It needed seasoning. More importantly, rice is an add on. I find this to be laughable. It's not much of a charge (50 cents for white and 1 dollar for fried) but the fried rice isn't worth a dollar and every other Chinese restaurant in the greater Rockville area gives it to you free.Lunch specials come with a small spring roll and hot and sour soup. The soup is tasty and so is the spring roll but it is very small. But again, no rice.I would only return to buy the same appetizers as this time. They are fantastic but to be honest, I'm not going back to just get fried food. You eat it fresh or it won't be the same and appetizers this decadent aren't reason enough. It would cause the most delicious heart attack in history but who wants a heart attack. :)Taste is subjective but consider that I dine in or buy takeout at least twice a week at Chinese restaurants in Montgomery County.

Peter Chang was my go to lunch spot for many months after recently moving to the area. They had incredible food for incredible prices. They have recently increased pricing across the menu, which would be understandable if the food quality remained as good as before, which unfortunately it hasn’t. Still a good spot, but nowhere near as good as before.

Somewhat disappointed. I ordered some dishes for the Chinese New Year. The price was very high and yet the food and service were both mediocre. I understand it was the busiest season they might get overwhelmed. But it should be better managed for the high price and their own good reputation. I probably will not go back again for the time being.

This is some of the best Chinese food you can find in the DMV. I love Peter Chang's restaurants and I have been to this location many times over the years. We moved away for two years and just tried this place again after coming back to the area. There have been a few disappointing changes to the menu, but the food is just as delicious as ever. This is a review of our most recent visit this past weekend. We came around 12:30PM on a Sunday and there were lots of open tables. Despite having only a few tables to serve, the service was a bit poor. The waitresses waited a long time to take our order. At one point one of them even asked us if we were ready to order and we told her "yes." But then she disappeared again for a while and another server eventually came out to take our order. This server didn't write down anything when we were ordering and this resulted in her forgetting to enter one of the dishes we wanted. By the time we realized that last dish wasn't coming, we realized that the other dishes we had were enough food, so we just let it go.Their menu has become smaller and they took off several dishes that we always ordered in the past, like the lamb skewers and the boneless whole fish with pine nuts. They literally got rid of my two favorite dishes! We had the bubble pancake, dry-fried eggplant, sauteed cumin lamb, pork shank, and fish filet in stone pot. The pancake was good, but the flavor of the curry sauce it comes with was not as good as it used to be. The dry-fried egg plant tasted amazing, but they were a bit on the soggier side. The cumin lamb, pork shank, and fish filet in stone pot were all delicious. The pork shank and fish in stone pot were on the seasonal menu. The fish in the stone pot was flounder served with mixed veggies (mushroom, broccoli, cabbage). The dish is very spicy, but we really enjoyed it. It was my personal favorite out of everything.

Authentic food evocative of homeland, great value for the reasonable price, and priceless attitude re satisfying this customer. "We'd gladly re-do it to your taste" was the answer when we said "too salty" in response our waitress' check-up on our Curry Seafood Stew in Stone Pot. In no time, she came back with a fresh Pot done just right, and full of fresh seafood! Impeccable quality control combined with flawless service puts Peter Chang on top of my list.

We hadn’t seen our friends since we were together for a week on Cape Cod last summer, so we arranged a takeout dinner from Peter Chang in Rockville. We started with themFlounder w/ Sour Cabbage Soup….sounded unlikely, but the taste was a miraculous high. From there, we moved on to a variety of shared dishes: two forms of green beans, Dan-Dan Noodles, Dry Fried Eggplant, Three Peppers w/Chicken, and a couple more. Without exception, they were all several orders of magnitude above the ordinary…truly, one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in years.,

Bland. Incredibly bland. Very disappointing. Had it delivered. Ended up throwing it away. It had no flavor.

TOP 3 Chinese food in DMV area♥️♥️♥️The ingredients were so fresh and handled so well, and the favor was really original and savory✨? my friend and I drove 40 mins to get here, and it was definitely worth it?
