The food is AMAZING! I got the traditional mezza platter and every item was delicious. Their hummus is so creamy and tasty. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food thoroughly. I love how it’s so vegan-friendly and was easily able to swap one thing out for another to make the whole platter vegan.Only disappointing part was the use of so much plastic, even though we were dining in. I wish we could’ve been served with something that’s better for the environment.
Ordered food twice from this place in the past few months. Disappointed both times: food was pretty tasteless and chicken was very dry. (We ordered for 2 people both times, and tried different dishes.)
Amazing food and even more amazing people! Delio the manager/owner is the best and is so so generous and sweet. I make it a point to always eat here whenever i come back from college. My mom also goes there to support the staff and because the food is so so good.
FEB. 2022 - As a Lebanese living in the US this is definitely not the type of Lebanese dishes you’re looking for. Their "pita" bread tastes like sand and the chicken is as dry as dust. The Fateh doesn’t taste like it at all. On top of that, there’s no light inside the restaurant and it’s super dark. The only good thing here is probably the overpriced "homemade" lemonade.
When I lived in this area Lebanese Taberna was my favorite restaurant. I was a bit disappointed to find out that they are now cafes serving in plastic and styrofoam fast food style. Thankfully the food is still delicious. We had the Lebanese feast platter, mixed kabob and ouzi. Everything Tasted like it used to be. Garlic butter and harissa were just divine. Bread was fresh and hot. Kabobs nicely grilled. Not tough at all. The ouzi was the biggest disappointment. Tasted like boiled lamb and the baklava was below par. Restrooms and the rest of the place was very clean.
I love this place. In fact I have been going to Lebanese Taverna Cafe since the early 2000 in the congressional plaza in Rockville. The food is always great. The service isn’t as it used to be but I try not to let certain staff of a company be the result of bad reviews. The food and environment is great and I always make the best of it with my family.
I like this place very much. It's very cosy and located in a nice location of Rockville town square. The food and service were great. Highly recommended.

Outstanding hummus, garlic sauce and grape leaves! Their dishes/sandwiches are amazing.
