Sorry for the lack of pictures. This review is well past when we ate the food. My wife and I tried Joe's based on published reviews and online reviews. We ordered it for the two of us and her parents. I recall the mapo tofu was a little salty, but spicy and flavorful. The Yang Chow fried rice was not good and neither was anything elsewe ordered. In sum, we disagreed with many of the positive opinions.
They are temporarily closed on Thursdays now so don’t waste your time like I did but they have great food when they are open
Joes noodle house used to be the place to go but now it is a pale shadow of itself. The food is hot or miss with no consistency. Too bad it was my place to go for Chinese
We ordered a few dishes from Joe’s Noodle House tonight. It was our first and last time. The food was low quality and tasted pretty bad. We ended up throwing it out.
As of right now, dine in is closed but you can carry out. We ordered tasty spicy tofu, slides beef with vegetables, dandan noodles and fish fillets with cabbage pickles. Everything was outstanding. Price was also reasonable. Will be coming back regularly. If you are into spicy Chinese food, this is a MUST visit restaurant in Rockville.
Superb food at a moderate price.Crispy Fish Filet and Tibetan style Lamb with Cumin are favorites in our household.If you want premium Chinese food at a lower price (this is in a strip mall) than elsewhere in the region; this is great choice.Free parking is available right outside the door.When I last asked; they intended to reopen for post-pandemic dine-in around late September 2021. They were still offering take-out only during August 2021.
It was great! I had the Dan Dan noodles and it was good and spicy and I had to go back and order some more.
The Dan Dan noodles aren’t authentic. It tastes like just green onions, ground-beef, noodles and sesame oil.
Can not dine in. We have been driving for an hour to get there. Please mark on the website.
Get your self the Mongolian beef with cumin and the drunken noodles!! We always get these was very good!
