I was trying to order a tuna sandwich this lady was just being smart I said I want everything on my sandwich she was like do u want fries on the sandwich too I was like really use ur common sense a sandwich is made with lattice tomatoes onion if I want something else I would have to say it come on people
This is THE local spot for bagels. Ize’s is the best! Fresh bagels and great breakfast sandwiches. Also have solid lunch sandwich options. I love the club sandwich!
Local spot with delicious, chewy bagels in a number of flavors. The Black Russian and Pumpernickel bagels are something special!
Wonderful lox sandwich. They had whole wheat everything bagels - my favorite. And everything melded well. Usually with a lox bagel you end up with things falling out. This one - solid. Will be back tomorrow morning.
Whoever was working on register for Mother’s Day at 9am really upset me. The order was placed and she said “that's disgusting” to one of my bagel orders.Extremely rude especially when I didn’t ask for her opinion.To the owners:This is not the first time workers were rude. I will totally support the decision of what raising bagel prices to hire better workers.
Wonderful bakery in North Bethesda. The steak, egg, and cheese on an Onion bagel was phenomenal!!! It was very busy on a Saturday morning but their ordering system was wonderful!! Each staff takes your order and disappears back to the prep line; you slide down and pay the attendee; and sit down. That staff member remembers who you were and delivers it to your table. It was super fast even when busy! One block walk from my friends condo and we will be back again for the weekends for sure!!!
The steak and cheese bagels we ordered were ok. The place really needs to set out extra condiments for customers who like their food with seasoning. Only salt and pepper available. Coffee way too light. We tried it today, but we decided that it was a one time only stop for us. The older woman who is at the register could be more customer friendly. Just crack a little smile...
The owners are wonderful. The quality of the food in general is slipping big time and others have said the same thing. There is a group of frequent customers who know one another and consensus in conversation is the breakfast and lunch items are not as good as they were. The quality of the bagels is weak at best. It’s not fun to write this review. Owners are great quality of the food is mediocre at best.
Everyone here was really friendly and I was served quickly, but when I got home notices that all the bagels were stale. I had to toss most of them out since they were too hard to eat.
Been going here since I was a kid, so pretty sad to leave this review. Today I waited 30+ minutes for 3 bagel sandwiches, watching other patrons walk in, get their food, and leave. A guy who walked in 20 minutes after me walked out at the same time as I did. Uber eats orders stacking up in the meantime. After I moved to the front then finally someone walked to the back and grabbed the bag of food for me that was sitting behind the fryer. Practically finished an entire L coffee waiting for my food. As my food was sitting there the girl who took my order was busy taking other peoples orders and completely forgot that I had been patiently waiting for my food. Come on.
