HIGHLIGHT OF MY WEEK!! Acknowledging the impacts of the pandemic on the restaurant industry, il Pizzico held the standard high for a quality dining experience. Professional and confident staff, timely service, and delicious food all await you on your next date here. I enjoyed the Capriccio di Mare (highly recommend if you like seafood; see pic) along with the Super Tuscan wine. You will be most fortunate to be taken care of by servers Marcus and Milton, so make sure to ask for them! And I hope you enjoy as much as we did. Thank you, il Pizzico - you've got something really good going on here, keep it up!

The best Italian restaurant in DMV. I’ve been here many times and all the dishes that I had here were absolutely phenomenal. Seafood pasta and rigatoni are delicious and I highly recommend the squid ink pasta. They have great appetizer and dessert menu too. This is a perfect place to celebrate any special occasions. I would make a reservation for dinner service and come early since they don’t have a lot of parking space.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant and I’m so sad because we are moving out of state. It is easily the best Italian restaurant in the DMV. Tonight we came for dinner one last time (for now) and it was amazing (as always). One thing you need to know about this place is that the service is outstanding. They are consistently kind, friendly, and prompt. Additionally, they are very knowledgeable about the food and wine offerings. The servers check in on you frequently and bring your food out so fast. Tonight we had the pleasure of being waited on by the famous Danny and he was awesome. The other thing you need to know is that the food is absolutely incredible. I am convinced you could order everything on the menu and not be disappointed by anything. The food is always creative, delicious, and fresh. They have different specials every time and typically we order at least one of them. Entrees hit the table piping hot every time. Tonight we got the mozzarella and prosciutto as well as the arancini as an appetizer, followed by the pancetta risotto on special, fish and veal entrees, and lemon raspberry cake and profiteroles for dessert. Don’t forget your cocktails, wine, and coffee! This place is perfect for a business dinner, family gathering, or date. Please do yourself a favor and check out this spot. Thank you so much Il Pizzico for the wonderful food and service every time!

This restaurant had great reviews so I wanted check it out. Came with the family on a weekend and they didn't have a seat and reservation was long. came back after work on a weekday. Its located in a small shopping center free parking available. Ambiance was great , they got the Italian vibe going. We had the fried dumpling duck appetizer and it was ok. I ordered veal and ravioli with pistachio sauce. The ravioli tasted great and the half portion was ok considering the main course. The veal on the other hand was chewy and not the italian veal I am used too. they promised that was normal but was still nice enough to change it to a steak. The steak was ok as well. All in all it was an average experience. Good service!

I heard great things about this place so I decided taste tested it before arranging a work event. I'm glad I did because for the price point it wasn't anything special. The negative:The atmosphere was very dated. The veal was tough, the steak was average, and the chicken was dry.The positive:The simple pasta dishes there are very good. If you are eating here, order one of those. The staff was very friendly.

I went to this restaurant so many times and was always very satisfied with the food and service.A few days ago, I went with my friends again. But this time, was so funny. All of us agreed that the waitress who served us was not well trained. She was a sweet girl. But she lacked of basic sense of serving. At the beginning, she asked us if it was our first time to visit the restaurant. We answered that we were very familiar with everything in this restaurant. She said good then started introducing the special of the day. It was not new to us. But still, we politely listened and ordered couple of appetizers as start of meal. Then she started introducing the chef specials in the menu. We said that you don’t have to ‘cause we are very familiar with the menu. However, she still recited everything… but forgot refilling the water. The carpaccio was my favorite in the menu. It is available as an appetizer. But each time, I always ordered carpaccio at a dinner meal size. I was always satisfied previously. However, this time, when carpaccio was served, unfortunately, it was an appetizer for sure, a tiny portion in the plate, please see my photos. It is delicious as usual. However, I was starved. My friends couldn’t help laughing when seeing my plate.Anyway, it is still my favorite restaurant. I wish this waitress would grow soon.

Made a reservation and when we arrived for my birthday dinner the reservation was no where to be found. When I called to make the reservation the person who answered the phone suggested the time. The person who I believe was the manager was extremely rude and unapologetic about the missing reservation. I even confirmed the name several times when making the reservation. The food is good BUT will not be going back reservation or not.

What a lovely spot! Had never been before as we live a distance away. Stopped in for lunch.. probably the best beef carpaccio I have had in recent memory! My husband got eggplant which was incredible. Unable to sample any of the wines (sadly) but the offerings looked very good. Looking forward to going back.. By the way, service was excellent and vey welcoming. Our Server, Danny could not have been nicer!

Wow! The ultimate hidden gem. The outside is deceiving but it is so lovely inside the restaurant. Impeccable service. The food was devine. I can't wait to go back.

This was a wonderful and special occasion to eat here. We had just moved to the area and some locals gave us the low-down. The best shortrib and polenta I have ever had! Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the attentive service! Only caveat is that there is a minor dress code- khakis are completely okay, jeans and leggings aren't
