I only dined here because my regular AYCE place (Sushi Para) was shut down permanently. But boy was that a mistake. My experience was ruined by this extremely racist elderly Asian lady (whom I assume is either the manager or the owner) kept staring at me the entire time. I felt so uncomfortable. And when I tried to order sushi for my dad, she kept emphasizing that the deluxe dinner option was higher priced, as if I couldn’t afford it because I was black. Then she accused me of sharing. So rude to me yet she was extremely nice to the other white and non-black patrons. The servers were cool but that lady just ruined my entire experience. I can spend my money elsewhere at other establishments that I know will give me equal treatment. Only after I left a tip for the server upon leaving did she exchange phony pleasantries with me but by then, it was already too late.I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars if I could. People of color aren’t particularly welcomed here, especially if you’re of African-American descent.Spend your money elsewhere. This place should be shut down.
I really enjoy the all you can eat special. They make the sushi as you order it. This is a big plus!If you like to eat a lot of sushi this is the place to go.Only downside is the service. It can be hit or miss. Sometimes you get a very pro active friendly server other times you get a server who isn’t so friendly and you can tell they really dont want to be waiting tables.
Came here with clients to entertain them for a possible business deal. We all ordered the sushi buffet. It takes a while for each order to be processed and brought to you. Keep that in mind because if you show up hungry, you will be waiting. They also come one order at a time so you might have a client waiting for a while. The sushi rolls have more rice ratio compared to other restaurants in Montgomery County. The rice is also kind of crunchy. The veggie tempura is pretty good. Light and crispy with dipping sauce that is not too salty. I’m stuffed! You will be too...
Excellent and affordable sushi! If you’re hungry, all you can eat menu is the way to go. Bento boxes or individual nigiri/maki orders are great for a little less appetite.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to! They have fast, friendly service, the music is pleasant, the food is delicious and priced well. I have been here multiple times and have no negative feed back. Also I love to look at the fish tank.
Hinode is an EXCELLENT RESTO for ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI.The only problem I have is that it makes it difficult to try things when you have to pay a surcharge for anything you can't finish. Also, they dont allow you to take home food that is left on the table. They will charge you extra on it
Beautiful and cozy restaurant!!! The owners and waiters were super friendly and welcoming and this is some of the best sushi I've ever had (I've grown up eating sushi so that says a lot) definitely recommend
Service was excellent and the food was delicious. The AYCE sushi option is a very good deal based on all of the choices they give you, which includes cooked food as well as sushi pieces/rolls.
One of the best Sushi Restaurants in Montgomery County, MD. Great prices for all you can eat sushi and items from the kitchen. Food is very tasty and comes in good portions. It’s a great place to take your friends to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner and hangout. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and the food comes out quick. Ignore all those negative comments about this place. I recommend giving this place a try and I give them a five star ⭐️!
It's just OK, but too expensive relative to the quality unless you're stuffing yourself at the buffet. Service was slow during lunch. Miso soup had a single piece of tofu and seaweed. Sushi was not very good, and one of the sushi chefs were not wearing their mask properly over their nose.
