This review is mostly for their wings, which are fantastic. They make Texas style wings, which I don't know exactly what that means, but I think it involves a rub, and then the key to their deliciousness, getting finished on the grill ? I would come here just for the wings, and the good service, but having chili is just a bonus. I think they have 3 or 4 types of chili, including vegetarian, and multiple ways to have it served; over spaghetti, over corn bread, over Fritos, etc. Be warned, since Covid, they have abbreviations hours, they close at 8pm, and they aren't open at all on Monday.
This place is dim, dirty and the only place to get legit ChiliMac. This place is generally well staffed and service is quick. Try not to look closely at the walls and hanging decor as they have at least a decade of dust and spills on them. Worth it.
Haven't been here in years but still has terrific burgers and onion rings. Wonderful chili, too.
Haven't eaten here in a few years but the food is still good. The place is showing its age and in need of an upgrade. Good service
I've eaten here half a dozen times, usually for takeout, and the food is just as you'd expect it to be for a place like this -- delicious, greasy and filling. I can't recommend the frito pie enough. I love chili and Hard Times is a great place to get it.
Had a great burger and enjoyed my dining experience. Everyone that I had contact with was nice and inviting. Enjoy some of the best chili.
Great experience. It's ashame that most other locations have closed. Their red chile over pasta is the best, and the bacon cheese fries aren't too shabby either. J
The Cadillac (Honey Mustard) wings are the best. I miss the Hard Times in Germantown MD. The Chili Mac is also very good.
Always a great place to go for something fast but delicious. Call before you go as they are only open certain days due to staffing shortage.
Alamo was good. Waitress was incredible.
