The best Giant that I have ever been to. My fiance and I tried the bourbon wings and Mac n cheese for lunch from the hot food bar. The food was a hit! Try it I promise that you won't be disappointed
This Giant is the best grocery store in the area. They might not be the best at certain specific things but the only other grocery store I visit nowadays away from this one is the Wegmens in Germantown.The meat guys offer some really nice cuts, and occasionally they get top of the line fish.Overall great bread, well run deli, always have rotisserie chicken and sushi. The fresh produce section is usually on point. Would be careful of the onions and broccoli, sometimes these go bad. Would like to see fresher chips option, but they do have store made and they are decent but check the dates.
Large grocery store with fair prices and very large selection. I personally love the Giant chicken bar where I usually get spicy or barbecue wings. Price for those is a bit expensive, almost like eating out. Giant cookies and donuts absolutely rock!! Also, convenient location at Montrose Crossing with many other businesses nearby (Value City Furniture, Bob’s Furniture, HomeSense, Marshalls, and Target just to name a few).
I come here every Friday woth My hubsnad and we love the quality,quantity, and freshness of the super market. Especially the floral section, gotta check it out! They also have a full kosher section freezer, Fish, meat, and all! Will not be disappointed
Lots of items and large fruit and produce section. The bakery and Deli are also very diverse with food options. I frequently shop here for general to special ingredients or food staples.
I saw the largest roach at Giant, it was HUGE! I was/am so disgusted! He was just walking down the aisle in the frozen food section.***update 6/22/22 I called the number provided and spoke to somebody who's comment was "oh wow, is there anything else I can further assist you with today"? So obviously giant does not care about this giant roach that was just walking down aisle like it was shopping.I will never by food at this giant again and I urge others to think twice before they do.------GIANT ROACH SIGHTING AT GIANT FOOD------- AND GIANT DOES NOT CARE---
I'm sorry but the employees come off a bit racist to me, I watch plenty of times the enteraction with Caucasian customers and its just not the same as with a African American, the greeting is different, ( if you even get one) they make it a point not to touch your hand when giving bags and money, it's very obviously really. Not just this store the whole Gaithersburg Bethesda, Rockville, Potomac etc
Warm, friendly fast and efficient. Stock is being replenished quickly and I was able to get everything on my list. Prices are still high but that is unfortunately expected. Always a pleasant shopping experience.

I reviewed this store a couple of months ago. I agree with some of the other reviewers who refer to this store as it was some years ago. It had a designation of "Someplace Special" instead of the less auspicius Giant Gourmet it's called now. There used to be.2 Giants in the area that had the Someplace Special signage. I don't khow how much affect White Flint Mall folding has had on their business.it's still nice, but many of the touches that made it truly Someplace Special aren't there any more . This used to. be my go to store for specialty hard to find items that I have grown to really like. Some specialty. items that were available at this. store. Jams and jellies were on the shelves here that weren't in other stores. Overall it's. still quite good, just not as special a it was 40 years ago.
