The food was very good and they give you a large portion. We ordered like we normally would and got meals for each person (family of 4). When 2 meals would’ve been plenty for us all to split. Our server was very friendly but there was one server for everyone. So whatever you needed you needed to make sure you requested it ahead of time because she was busy with everyone else. The other customers were very helpful as well helping us pick out what was good to try. Great atmosphere, we’d definitely go back when in the area!
Always a five star experience. Awesome as usual. Definitely a local favorite. Everything on the menu is tasty. Usually busy, but the line goes quickly. Parking is limited and the spaces are narrow, but that's typical of just about anywhere on Arlington. Look at the menu online. The descriptions of the food are accurate. Enjoy!
Sorry it took us so long to get to East Pearl! The food was excellent! The service was very good. East Pearl reminded me of the wonderful restaurants we used to visit in New York’s Chinatown.
Waitress touched the tips of the utensils where you put your mouth and came out after us for a %15 SUGGESTED tip. The workers cooking didn’t wear gloves and wore no masks.
I'll be back and I live in Columbia, the food was epic! Service was not bad, prices were what I pay for food that is no where neer this quantity. I dont know who is in the kitchen but keep them happy!

Pros:1. Very flavorful: My chinese mom loves coming to this place because it has the highest quality Hong Kong food in the Rockville area.2. Good Ambience: Fresh duck and poultry on the window, just how it should be.3. Authentic: Frogs, stir pots, intestines, and whole fish with heads on. Finally some good variety where people are not picky with preferences.Cons:1. Delivery/takeout portions: Very small portions for delivery and I realized the containers are way too big. When I dine in the portions are just right.2. Overpriced seafood: It's different proportions everytime and they charge the same price. Sometimes I order 2 lobsters and they give me very small lobsters. I ordered fish and the fish was very small. Please charge me per pound so I don't get ripped off a lot.Overall Evaluation: Needs innovation and new recipes.This is something my mother would enjoy after immigrating from Hong Kong or mainland china. But it doesn't appeal well to other target consumers when eating here for dinner. It was famous back then but after a decade this town had new restaurants which made this place mediocre in comparison.
Not a good place for a foodie or a vegetarian. The food is very oily. Everything seems deep fried. But my companion loved it.
Food quality was amazing. Our table got Flamingang, kingdom porkchop, fish belly soup, black pepper beef, and longevity noodles. The food was out in a very timely manner considering the order size and service was quick and to the point. Overall a very good chinese cuisine resturant, give it a try.
Best Chinese restaurant in Rockville. Mostly serves Hong Kong/Cantonese cuisine. If you speak Cantonese or are familiar with the cuisine, they'll prepare custom dishes that may not be on the menu. Service is excellent whether dining in or taking out. Parking can be competitive so be patient when looking for a spot.
