Highly suggest the coconut custard. Thoroughly enjoyed mine as did everyone else in our party. We all had something different. It's not the kind of thing you can really take home to someone very easily though. More the kind of thing you eat there...I'd think transporting it would be difficult. Lots of flavors, combinations of custard, shaved ice, and even adult (alcoholic) popsicles were available.
Amazing! It was my first time here, but I plan to be a repeat customer. Where I used to live in New Mexico they had a custard place and I remember thinking I was really going to miss that. This place has provided a beautiful replacement and a better one. Am really happy I decided to come here. When you come up the menu can be a little overwhelming because there are so many different products and flavors. I got the stick bun coffee custard I think it was called and it was delicious! The prices are also more than fair, you can’t find many places with low prices like here much these days. Most of their cold products come in four sizes and the mini is perfect size for a reasonable sized treat if you are trying to be mindful of size! If you want to go all out your craving will be filled with their largest size. :)
Who doesn't love ice-cream and frozen custard? Carmen's has been a local Rockville institution for years and it never loses its allure. A special treat or a need? You decide. The frozen custard with Italian ice mixed in is wonderful. Mango!! Coffee/salted caramel swirl!! Carmen's is somewhere you take your out-of-town guests. It is unique in the area and a crowd pleaser. If you can, avoid the weekend: the wait can be rough if it is really hot. But the wait to cool down is always worth it.

How did I not know about this place all my life? It's such a good ice cream shop! Delicious soft serve, and so many options! I see myself visiting Rita's much less after this experience.
A true local gem with awesome frozen treats and a wonderful staff. Flavors change frequently, so stop by and check it out! I always try to get something new each time.
Always good here, we lived in the neighborhood for 3 years, we will miss it now that we are gone. There is always a ton of variety, our personal favorite is the peanut butter bar fall gelati.
I love this place so much. The only thing I hate is that I will love a flavor and then they change it out. But the guys here are so patient and always let me try as many samples as I want (really though they always tell me "try as many as you want!")They had a flavor that was like a breakfast ice cream that had bacon and maple and it was too dieeee for. It's always less conventional stuff but it so delicious!
Really cool Reto looking italian ice store. It was open late, which was a plus. Flavor galore!!! I got the chocolate dipped icecream...4/5 overall....chocolate flavor was meh... everyone else really liked the italian ice... definately recommend.
My favorite dessert spot! Their seasonal flavors are always great, and I love their new walk up window to make things covid safe.
