I purchased an ultimate platter today, in which I haven’t had in a couple years. First thing the price was more, I expected that, please for the price let the food be fresh and edible. The platter used to come with a lump crab cake but know it comes with a hockey puck of a crab cake which is back-fin crab meat. I refuse to spend good money for trash food. They’ve lost a valued customer.

Awesome little takeout spot. Walked in, ordered a dozen #1 males, walked out with them in less than two minutes. They were hot, heavy, and well priced compared to all of my other favorite spots in the DMV.
This location is take out only, there is no seating anywhere. I purchased a dozen mixed crabs, it was $35. I have been here a few times now and it has not been consistent. The cream of crab specifically has not been consistent with different flavors and textures every time I have purchased them. The crabs were fine, small, but for 2 people this was enough, the legs on all of the crabs were overcooked and very dry which I was not expecting. The second time I visited, my crabs were all missing claws which was terrible since some people I was eating this with only eat legs, I was very very dissapointed and should have been told this, though they did put in extra crabs it does not make up for the loss of the legs that some peoppe only eat. The hush puppies come with 12 and they were really good. The corn was $4 and only came with 2 pieces of tiny over cooked corn (which was less than half of a regular piece of corn) and one of the corn tasted like it was boiled with jalapeños, I would not buy the corn again.
Here it is - a fly in our shrimp - disgusting!! I always thought this place was dirty, but I wanted to give it another chance. No excuse during this pandemic!! We also ordered cream of crab soup, pure gel when I took it out of the cup. The picture shows HOT soup - this was pure bouillon with no crab taste what so ever. I threw everything in the trash — $44 worth!! I was embarrassed also because I had guests over. I also think that the customer service is very unfriendly. DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT buy your fish at Cameron's!
A nice spot for fresh seafood. I went for a dinner of a fried snapper platter. I wasn’t really sold and the sides lacked excitement. They package your order in plastic containers so it makes fried foods sweat. By the time I made it home to eat, the fries were not crispy and the fish was rubbery. The coleslaw was average and I could have done without the roll. But if you want fresh seafood with choices, check it out!
This has been my go to for fried clams and Cod. Tonight, I was so happy to go get my usual. When I got home and opened the container instead of smelling that deliousness of fried Cod I got a nose full of spoiled fish smell. The cod was bad an trying to fry it up in hot grease didn't camouflage the fact that the fish was bad. Needless to say, the place is closed so whole cod dinner went into the trash. The only saving grace is that I have my clams. But still so disappointed!!! Ugh, my 2 nights of eating out has been a disaster and utter disappointment. Last night's carry out from Injera was met with disappointment too. Note to self..... make my food at home!!!
Great food, great pricing, and even better customer service. First time here and we loved it! The guy who was taking our order along with his daughter made us feel at home and had overall great people skills. I’ll be coming back soon and bringing family/friends.
They give out good service I don't remember everything they sell but when i do remember when I ordered the pink shrimp salad they weren't willing to sell me extra crackers, even though I offered them extra money, so I would suggest to buy saltine crakers at your local store (the 4 pack bag in 1 box). If they change their decision when I go get some things, I will change my review.
The people in this company are the worst! I called asking about the father of my child(their employee) if they’ve seen him & if he is safe. They called back and cursed the hell out of me! They said that I had no right to contact them regarding anybody because it was unprofessional & to never contact them ever again! They overwork employees and mistreat them! They give the ones they are friends with higher wage.
