Went here at the end of a day of travel and seeing Arlington Natl Cemetary. The food was great and very reasonably priced. The people were so friendly. Would definitely eat here regularly if I lived in the area.
OMG, the meatball sub is AWESOME! The staff is friendly and helpful. They have some pre-made Italian specialties in their freezer and fresh items in the deli case. They don't have a ton of variety, but this is a solid neighborhood Italian deli.
I loved getting their roast beef sub..but was shocked when I went in to pick up online order that was sitting behind the counter and the employee was on the phone taking a long order ...never turned around to even acknowledge me ....I was trying to get the attention. Of someone behind the counter to hand it to me ....she hangs up after several minutes and says I'm the only one who can get the order and I was on the phone ! I said I'm sorry but I was in a hurry ....She said I can't do 2 things at once !!! Very rude and I sense she was the owner or Manager ...poor customer servic e!!!
Placed appetizer order for fried zucchini first but the lady didn't put it in till the same time as the pizza and served the zucchini sticks burned I said just take them off the order she said no you already charged at this point like I was being forced to buy the order .my wife wanted a small bowl of wedding soup but they make you buy a big container and heat up the whole thing and then give whats left of it to take home but by the time you get it home it's already been heated twice already at least... it's under different ownership, and showes ...also lady worker asks to leave her a tip before i even get my burned food i had to send back and wait another half hr .and does not give the receipt with a breakdown of items just the main high cost total .I got a tip for you I won't be back.
Angelo's Pizza is a hidden gem on norbeck road just off Georgia avenue. The pizza is made New York style classic Neapolitan and a traditional gas-fired pizza oven. In addition the store stocks a lot of genuine Italian foods from brands I've known from my childhood. In addition they have frozen meals ready to throw into the oven and also vegetarian foods like eggplant lasagna.Stopping in there was a treat and as you can see from the picture of the margarita pie they know what they're doing. Take it from this New Yorker Good pizza is something to be savored especially when you're in Maryland!
I’ve lived in Montgomery County all my life and I finally found this hidden gem. Had the steak and cheese and margarita pizza, old bay french fries (not pictured) absolutely delicious food and the lady that runs up was so kind! I can’t wait to come back and try more food.

Angelo's Deli is a family-owned Italian restaurant that specializes in pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. Our pizza enjoyed a 16" Cheese pizza, a 12" Pepperoni Pizza, Turkey & Provolone Sub, Lasagna, Spinach and Sausage Calzone, Pepperoni Calzone, Baklava, Espresso Tiramisu, and Limoncello Cake.My boyfriend and I shared the Pepperoni Calzone, which consisted of a large calzone stuffed with mozzarella, provolone, and stacks of pepperoni. I liked how the parts of the Pepperoni Calzone reminded me of a WV-style Pepperoni Roll.Among the three homemade desserts, the Baklava and Limoncello Cake were hit. The Espresso Tiramisu was a bit soggier than expected. We hope to return to try their pastas (e.g., Linguine and Vodka) and subs (e.g., Steak and Cheese, Eggplant Parmesan, and Meatball & Cheese).
Probably worst pizza I’ve ever had.The pizza crust tastes like cardboard and seemed like frozen not made fresh. They skimped on the cheese. I would never order from here again.
