We were waiting eagerly for Sushi Oishii to reopen for takeout--and were not disappointed. The rolls were as good as always and we had several. We definitely will be returning.

We come here regularly, because the fish is very fresh, the specialty rolls are interesting and the service is outstanding and friendly. The dumplings are really tasty, especially when very hot. We return monthly, because it's so good. Parking in the rear.

My mother, brother and I came here for sushi. My brother is a regular, so the staff greeted him by name. My mom had the vegetarian tempura, which the staff knew to order. He and I split seven different rolls, including Dragon, Alaska, Angel, Boston, California, Spicy Salmon, and one other. It was somewhat expensive, but the service was excellent and the food very good.

This was a real bummer! The place is a really cute neighborhood spot with terrific service. Our server was engaging and funny. The food was tasty enough. I'd give the fish a B plus. The portions were ridiculous! The sashimi portions were EXPENSIVE and less than half the size of other places in the area. Special rolls were also small and the regular salmon roll was ridiculously small. $108 for three of us and we drank water!! No one left full. Total rip off.

A delightful lunch. This is a very nice Japanese Restaurant. The sushi and service were very good. Dragon and Volcano Sushi were spicy and delicious. We liked the specials, especially the Singapore Spicy Crab which was authentic and tasty, and the grilled squid whose rings were done just right but whose tentacles were rubbery. All in all a fine repast.

We started with pan fried dumplings, as usual, which had a new sauce. We had 3 specialty rolls, which were delicious, and the excellent soft shell crab roll. Friendly service. Our go-to sushi restaurant.

The Hamachi Kama was very good; the calamari was good as well with a tempura coating and the sashimi deluxe was nice.

I have diner at Sushi Oishi many times and have always found the sushi fresh and tasty. The chef is an older gentleman that clearly knows his craft. I usually get some mixed sushi nigiri and a few special rolls. They are always presented well and are tasty. The service is basic, but serviceable and the decor is a traditional Japanese style. For the liquor - I usually stick to Sake and beer - both of which pair well with the sushi. Only critique was the infestation of fruit flies the last time I was there. We had to put napkins over the drinks to prevent them dive bombing our beverages. Management - you need to fix this ASAP. Outside of this temporary bug problem, Sushj Oishi is a a good quality local sushi place and a great place for lunch or dinner.
