My husband and I live on the Bodkin and we LOVE coming to rumor reel. They are always so accommodating and if there is ever any issue (very seldom) with our meal, they fix it times two. We love their brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks. Coming by boat or land is always a pleasant experience, their staff is friendly and their management is top notch! Highly recommend Rumor Reel.

We came to celebrate my friend's upcoming nuptials. There's a cool vibe here. Live music and extensive bar selection. I ordered calamari. It was pretty tasty. The nachos are really good!
Long ago this was Cheshire Crab, a place you went for a high quality special dinner for an occasion. Then somebody had the bright idea to throw away a 20 year old brand and call it "Props" and cut the menu to bar food.... that failed miserably. They then changed the name back to Cheshire "with bar food" and again failed. Rumor Reel, experienced in running "Rumor Meal" moved in and "Kaboom", the place is awesome again! Great food, great drinks and prices that are fair is "always" the best recipe! Great job Rumor staff!!
We love the food, atmosphere, and service but sadly we will not be visiting for a while. They do not have a changing table and we've grown tired of trying to change our son's diaper in a booth in the middle of the restaurant.We were in over a month ago and the manager seemed shocked that there was no changing table in the restroom and said he would be getting that fixed. We called tonight and were told that this has not been addressed, so we have chosen to visit more family-friendly establishments in the area.
Updated menu which is just as good as their last menu. Key lime pie crush just as good as I remembered. Friendly staff. Good food. Service started strong but laced a little when it got busy (so understandable). Should have brought our dog, staff cared for the pets too.
Great atmosphere! outside seating, inside seating, and sports bar area with food service. It's on the water and beautiful right outside. Parking is a little different but just fine. Very friendly employees and clean restaurant.The food is excellent. I ordered fish and chips with a crab meat stuffed pretzel. It was Amazing.
