food and service was really, really great!

Had the best time here the manager Marie and was so sweet it was our first time eating here. We had no idea Oscar’s was open. So glad we came in the beer selection is outstanding. Marie let was know about Oscar’s all the food is made from scratch to order. You can tell the difference. Our server Tucker was great as well we will definitely be regulars of Oscar’s now! Everyone was friendly and helpful!

Great selections for food & beer.. servers very accommodating!!

This place was just okay.Nice atmosphere. Convenient location. Assorted menu options. Good presentation. Friendly staff. Average prices. However the food lacked "Wow". Everything seemed to be almost good, but nothing I'd come back for. I had higher hopes. Whomp! Whomp!

Good food, good beer...l could stop there.... but.... nice spacious location with front that opens for a refreshing meal. Service has been good every time and this has become one of our regular stops.... the beer selection should please most people. There are plenty of menu options that will appeal to everyone...all in all a great lunch and dinner option...or just stop in for a late night drink at the bar.

Came here for the first time with a party of 15 to celebrate our friend’s retirement we used to all meet here when it was Cheeseburger In Paradise. Wow what a great selection of craft beers. Food was great all the staff was attentive and friendly the Manager Marie helped us get seated within a timely manner even though they we came in the middle of them being packed made our night perfect! Much better than Cheeseburger! This will be our new hang out!

I haven't been here since this was Cheeseburger in Paradise. Our food was excellent and our party of 4 had a minimal wait in spite of not having reservations. Our server Jacqueline was very good about seeing to our needs. We sat near the open window which was perfect Saturday night. We had Old Bay fried pickles and coconut shrimp for appetizers. The pickles were good, but the shrimp were overcooked. The kids ordered barbecue burgers which were the best we've ever tasted. My wife had the ahi tuna wrap and I got the baby back ribs. My ribs were tasty but a little too dry (again, overcooked). They had a large selection of draft beers (as any alehouse should). I had the Burley Oak Lost IPA which was citrusy and delicious with a very clean finish. I loved the alehouse decor. We shared the caramel bread pudding for dessert. We'll certainly come back in the future.

Great food. Will be back again

It was good. I got the chicken Chesapeake and my husband got a burger. I liked his better than I liked mine. We loved that they stay open later. I think it was about 10ish when we left and our party was still in there chatting for a while longer. Very friendly staff. Oh and we got the sampler of lighter beers called the flight. We like lighter beers so we were happy with them!

Delicious food, great service, good beer. We've visited the location in Frederick twice, and now the location in Pasadena (where cheeseburger in paradise used to be).Same menu, same price- with one notable exception: the "Hop Flight" in Frederick had 5 beers, in Pasadena it had 4 (a bit disappointing)Last time, in Frederick, I had the Cuban egg rolls and blackened salmon. In Pasadena I had the chicken pot pie. All were delicious.A note on the pot pie: the "in" thing these days seems to be a "deconstructed" pie - that is, it's not a full crust (like mom & grandma used to make) - instead, it's kind of like a large, super-puffy biscuit (don't get me wrong, it's good). Also, the innards of the pie aren't what I would call traditional - it's got a lot of garlic, and I would guess parmesian cooked in to the sauce, making it very thick. It's a different flavor than I was expecting, but delicious nonetheless. I will get it again someday, even though it didn't quite scratch my pot pie craving/itch.
