Like others say expect to wait super long for your drink as it is the busiest place in National Harbour…. Took me a total of 20 minutes to order and get my americano just because of the sheer volume of customers. Staff are still nice and pleasant given how stressful I’m sure it can be. I’d mobile order if I could but my app doesn’t allow me to do so in the US

Very busy store by National Harbor...

This Starbucks is very professional and welcoming to out of state visitors. I visited the location during Magfest and was very pleased by the staff’s customer service. The baristas were hard working and very friendly while servicing the high volume of customer that the convention enticed. The drink I ordered was perfect and the wait was short. However, during my visit I had witnessed a very disturbing interaction between a customer and the store’s employees. The customer was very belligerent and rude to the employees after they had made her drink, nastily telling them that it was incorrect. Although I understood her frustration, she belittled the baristas even after they had remade her drink four times. Yes, FOUR TIMES! Despite having a long line, the baristas remained stern on satisfying her when she was clearly being extremely difficult. Poor baristas!

Say Hi to the fly!!Out of many menu items as well

Starbucks is pretty much the same everywhere you go. The only difference is whether its busy or not....and some occational rude staff. This one was not busy and my colleague and I were served right away and while the guys who served us were neither rude nor friendly. They just seemed to exist. My colleague and I were literally the only two people in the store and when her drink was ready, the guy didn't put it on the counter like usual. Instead, he placed it on top of a machine which gave the impression that he was still working on it and he didn't tell anyone that the beverage was ready and being served. I saw the cup and that he had stopped making drinks and was just standing there so I asked him if that was the drink, he nodded and then I reached over a bunch of things to get the cup off the top of the machine. A part of me feels really sad for him. His energy was super melancholic. I hope he finds his happiness soon.
