Restaurant just started brunch buffet. Food was really good. Would prefer more selection, but overall very satisfied.
The food and service (fast and attentive, but not rushed) at Portum was excellent. We had Trout, pan seared with a white cream sauce and lumps of crab meat. It was delicious. We also had 2 kinds of oysters as appetizers ( Fried and Oysters Rockefeller). Both kinds were scrumptious!! Additionally, I must compliment the bartender who made one of their signature cocktails (with Hennessy) that was delicious. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Staff were nice but there were long wait times between requests for things, food came out wrong but they corrected it. Just a bit disappointed overall and underwhelmed by the brunch experience.
Great place to get away from the traffic, highly recommended and will be back!
food was good service was terrible. waiter at dinner mixed up our orders and even missed one so our companion's plate came 25 minutes after ours. Breatfest experience was much better.
My favorite was the shrimp & grits. It was delicious!!
The meal was DELICIOUS. The service was constantly available. The restaurant was very clean and fresh.
The food and service was great. Nice lighting and quiet
This was my first time at this restaurant. Ambience was great. Waitresswas phenomenal. The food suggestions fish and chips, and the shrimp and grits, delicious. The steak and cheese egg rolls great. Brussels sprouts a no. The front door hostess Ms Walker is a gem. We had a party of 7 and service was quick. Prices are reasonable even with the 20% gratuity. Check it out! It is our new found go to place.
Extremely disappointed with the food. Steak and Cheese roll was overcooked and served with sauce for an egg roll. For some reason, it took three tries to get a soft drink that did not taste like seltzer water. We were served can Sprite which was flat and I'm sure was expired. The bread was pieces of toast and one slice looked liked someone took a bite out of it. It was served with some honey butter that tasted like the cook simply mixed up some concoction of ingredients to make it sound appealing. We ordered Carolina Pan Trout which was not fresh. The broccolini was doused with lemon juice and the mash potatoes was stringy. I wanted to express my displeasure but my sister expressed that it was spending time together that mattered. That was until she saw the bill. There was a 20% service charge and a note at the bottom of the receipt recommending tips. We were served by three people! My experience would have been a great episode to Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back! Never Again.
