Oh, Texas how I miss thee. This is excellent BBQ for all city slickers. Alas, if you're from Texas just fast til the next meal. The cornbread is actually cake, it's so sweet. The Italian sausage was pleasant, I guess. The Mac & Cheese does have cheese in it but very little mack. Even the spicy mustard was lacking spice. The catfish bites actually saved this meal. Too expensive for the serving size but this is the year of inflation, so think of the small serving sites as a way to cut empty calories. The pulled pork sandwich was a solid dry AF 3 star ordeal. Sometimes, alas, it is what it is and not much more than that.

Slightly disappointed in the lunch we had, the group of 8 of us waited like 30 min for a table even though there were open tables this appears a major problem at all locations since coming back from covid 19. I ordered the combo BBQ pick 3 plate, the Corn bread was very good the fries were crisp, the problem was the meats, the beast thing was the smoked Italian sausage, it was great cooked perfectly, served with friend onions I wish I would have order just this as my meal. I ordered Brisket which I never got, they gave me 1/3 rack of ribs, meat was tough didn't really enjoy it even my friends said to me did you order ribs and I didn't. last was the pulled chicken, I don't even know where to begin, It was severed in a French fry boat swimming in water , no seasoning, no taste, plain and bland, there was different BBQ sauces at the tables and i tried all 3 to try to make it some what enjoyable, no luck. Needless to say disappointing for $32.00 for the combo plate. I felt that it wasn't worth what I paid for it. Unfortunately the wait staff was busy trying to serve other tables and trying to get a refill on a drink was difficult to say the least. Hopefully things improve in the future.

Good happy hour prices for National Harbor area. Pork sliders and frickles were tasty. Large bar with multiple televisions to watch sports. Bartender was friendly and service was good. Large restaurant that could accompany large groups.

Food was ok. Waiter was nice. They put gratitude of 15% on the check automatically. I wouldn't have mind paying that much gratuity , but the two females that were hostess that day didn't really greet me when I came in. They were seemed like they were "bothered" that a customer came in the door. I didn't really feel welcomed but I didn't feel like finding another restaurant. I would usually leave a restaurant if I didn't feel comfortable when I walk in the door.

This is a restaurant we have dine at before a couple of times. It is really hit and miss with the all the items on the menu. That was the worst banana?pudding EVER. The pudding is simply instant pudding from a box.. If your a kid from the 80's you know that taste. The service is great which moves them from a 2 star to a 3 star. This will be our last visit here.

We enjoyed our meals. We had pulled BBQ chicken and a pulled BBQ chicken sandwich, and both meals were good. The cornbread and baked beans were delicious.

I must say the food was delicious. The menu has a very nice assortment of items. Our server was salty from the beginning and in an altogether unwelcoming mood. This experience for my first visit does not make me want to return. Our party of 3 all selected the 2 meat option which only comes with one side. For the price of $27 two sides would have been a better and more fair option. There are TV screens through out giving the venue a sports bar vibe and there are several games for guests to play. The noise from the basketball hoop was very distracting. The final disappointment was the banana pudding. Not homemade or tasty at all. It's like a jar of banana baby food was opened and then surrounded by vanilla wafers with whipped cream on top.I am from out of town so won't be back anyway, but even if I lived in town I wouldn't return.Other responses from my group: *the food was good but the service was lacking. *the brisket was tender.

Went here my work colleague Mr John. We had the burgers and they were very good. Mr John ordered a pitcher of beer. I don’t think he knew what a pitcher is! Have yet to see him today.

The ribs re great but the bread pudding is to die for. The service is good and again the food is to die for especially the bread pudding.

We were disappointed. The food was good but not great. But good is good enough for us. Unfortunately, it was also cold. Not just one item but everything was cold. My meal was $27. See attached photo. Worth maybe 16 at most. Rather small portion. The Photo doesn't emphasize how small the portions truly are.Staff was friendly enough.
