This restaurant is amazing! The staff gets 10 stars. Latoya went above and beyond to make sure my dad and friends enjoyed dinner on the patio Sunday. We had a large order and everything from the peach bourbon wings to chicken and waffles was delicious! Oreo cheesecake and peach cobbler was recommended and was amazing! Thank you ! Thank you!
I Took my wife there by surprise ? First the parking is convenient right on the parking lot. The greeters where first class. The waiters fist class, The live ban was first class, The food and portion size was like drop the mic ? AWESOME first class. The drinks are first class as well the bar tenders. The Atmosphere in the place is cheerfully first class as well clean rest rooms to. So if you ever want some great home cooking with a flare of FIRST CLASS I truly recommend Granny’s. This is my new favorite restaurant. I’m originally from GA, so I’m always searching for some southern food that actually tastes authentic. And I’ve found it. This place is AMAZING! Love their shrimp and grits, crab soup, Mac and cheese, cornbread, everything. Going back again and again! And they have amazing service.
Food is awesome. Staff are very nice. They appear to be family...they treated us like family too. The kind of folks I want to give my business to. They pay great attention to detail as far as their cooking. I'm never going to Georgia Peach again. Best fried pork chops...up there with mom's, grandma's. Tried fried fish and wings. All good. Sides good. Nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Will try waffles with my chicken next time.
This Southern Gentleman is the best mixed drink I have ever tasted BUT this Peach Cobbler…. Sheesh!! But wait… The LOVE and hospitality at Granny’s is humbling. I love that they greeted me as FAMILY. ❤️
Best soul food restaurant in MD! Everything is delicious... Always 5 star service and I go at least once a month (for the past few years). My favorite dinner dish is the salmon cake dinner with mac and cheese, candied yams, cabbage and cornbread with sweet tea. Best Mac and cheese I've ever had and not just in MD! My favorite breakfast dish is the sweet potato pancakes with fried potatoes and fried apples. Every item I've ordered over the years is rated 5 starsssssss
We've gone numerous times over the years & I can't say I was ever disappointed. Food is always prepared properly and they have excellent customer service. I've had pretty much everything on the menu. Everything is good!
If you’re looking for a nice soul food spot with a great setting, then this is the place. I haven’t dined-in in awhile due to COVID but the place still looks great even when ordering takeout. I usually order the Cheeseburger Meatloaf but strayed away because I last time I ordered it, it came with gravy on it. It was okay, but not didn’t fit for me. I also didn’t know gravy came with it. Anyway I started trying different things and they were all good. I recommend the turkey dinner or the wing dinner. If you’re looking for extra sweet tea mixes, this place definitely has it. I’ve strayed away from sweet drinks, but I can say their teas has had a lasting good impression on me. I always recommend this place to friends from out of town looking for soul food.
The food is always delicious and the customer service superb. There is usually a slight hold to place a take out order but that is the because they give the right amount of attention to each person ordering so that nobody feels rushed. I’ve even heard them reading menu options to people ordering. They are doing a great job just offering take-out during COVID and keeping folks safe. Pictured is the shrimp and grits with turkey bacon (yes they have turkey bacon!), fried whiting, and wingettes. Desserts are good too and don’t get me started on the specialty iced teas and lemonades. Why are you still reading this instead of placing your order?
It's so welcoming to hear Hello Family. I can hear the smile over the phone.No rush in getting the order. Now! With Covid I appreciate the set up.The food is packaged well. It's hot and tasty. For me! I have never received an bad meal and I been a customer for years.A family business who treats there customers like family. Win Win!
