I was looking to try something new so i Google search food spots near me and came across this restaurant. I took the time to look up their instagram page being the fact Im a visual person. I scroll on their instagram page and seen the Lamb chops and immediately made the call. I called around 8:25pm and someone answer and put me on hold for about 5 mins so I hung up and called back about 6 times and the phone just kept going straight to voice mail. Very unprofessional I'm no longer interested in trying their food.
The chicken was really juicy and flavorful. A group of four of us tried something from the menu, and we were satisfied with our meals. The service was good. I would recommend this place.
Small pieces of slightly overcooked but nonetheless tasty chicken. I ordered the 1/2 plate but didn’t get quite full. Sides were ok. Relatively inexpensive dinner if you’re not really hungry.
This franchise is in a good location in owings mills, conveniently located off exit from 795 to Mill run circle. Orders taken promptly, food took a while to be delivered though, plantain was a little over cooked, but the chicken was the way I expected it to be, taste great, cooked just right, the chaufa was equally good.
I came in yesterday. My concern is the lack of concern for customers food when people who are around who are not wearing a mask. I watched as the server (whos mask was half on) prepared my food and left container open. A women walked up to where he was without a mask on and they held a conversation over my food. When i addressed my concern the server just looked at me and said nothing and just pushed the bag of food in my direction. There may be a language barrier there however the guy at the cash register was standing near by and apparently found my concern amusing because he was laughing. Another customer in the store backed me up and said to cashier that my concerns were not funny and that Covid is real! You need to have more respect for peoples concerns when addressed to you and be very mindful of cross contamination of customers food.
El Gran Pollo (Owings Mills location) has become my go-to spot. Typically I order the old bay wings with a side of plantains (delicious), but today I ventured out and tried something new, the fried tilapia sub. The sub was great! The tilapia was well seasoned and very filling. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.
I'm disappointed in our order. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were there but the food could have been so much better. The trash plate fries were underdone. Chicken was marinated to perfection but skin didn't have that crisp char. It's very clean and staff is nice but a little culinary knowledge would go a long way here. Rule is if I can cook it better then I'm mad I paid for it, this is one of those times.
This is a new favorite of mine. The service is always great and the food is even better. I routinely order their chicken bowl, which is full of flavor. 10/10. I’m actually on the way now!
The service is really bad, the workers don't work as a team, they don't have good communication. The food is terrible the rice of my lunch was like a mash potato, the sweet plantain was cold and uncooked.
Really delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and the workers are very friendly.
